I admit I had very low expectations with this pouch initially. I wanted something a little bit more compact and portable to store readily available filtered tap water in for use in powered garden spray equipment. Lugging gallon jugs around gets cumbersome. For the price point I really didn't think it would be 100% leak proof. I performed all of the usual tests when it first arrived. I filled it up completely with water and let it sit to see if there were any leaks. After sitting for a couple of hours I was pleasantly surprised that there was no leakage found from the bag or the spout. I was also amazed at how well the bag remained in an upright position; the material that it is made of is very durable and rigid enough to keep in an upright form. I suppose I expected it to be a bit more on the flimsy side. Overall quality is excellent. The only criticism I have is the spout itself. It's an awkward design in terms of the knob. Instead of it requiring to be turned clockwise to open and counterclockwise to close I would have preferred a push button spout for easier dispensing, but it is not a game changer. However, the stem from where the water pours out is a barbed end which gives an opportunity to attach a ⅜ inch tube for easier and less messy liquid dispensing. I wish I purchased the two pack instead of the single. I'm considering purchasing a few more as this will also come in handy inside the house for storing filtered tap water for the coffee maker. It advertises that it has an 8 liter capacity (2 gallons, 14 oz) but I found that filling it past the 7L mark makes the bag a little more top heavy and increases the potential for it to tip over.

This camping water container is fantastic. It's foldable, very light, and has a very convenient design. You can wash your dishes with this folding bag, and it has a good capacity. I think 8 liters is really the nice sweet spot. Also, I wasn't expecting too much from it because of its price—you know, it's only six bucks—but I've used it a couple of times and it's pretty durable. So, it's a fantastic camping product.

Love these just lost one black cap so have only been able to use the one two gallon water bag. It has been working beautifully though for our camping with electricity set up. Just put it on a shelf above water basin and can wash hands and do the few dishes we use. I’d like to get another set. A couple times it was leaking but it was because I didn’t tighten it. Once closed completely it doesn’t leak and makes it to camp full while bouncing around the back of the truck. Holding up very well for what it is. Love the handle.

Perfect! Good size for water weight to carry, stands up on table, dispenser works great, folds down small & flat for storage. We lost the cap on the first camping trip but it doesn’t seem to leak so I definitely recommend.

We bought this little jug for a delightful car camping trip we were taking to venture across the west, over the course of 11 days. We received the package with joy and merry, and immediately upon opening were impressed. There was no foul smell permeating the exterior or interior of the water jug itself, on the contrary it was clean, unused, and felt like good quality plastic. It also looked to hold the stated amount of water we thirsty big backs had desired to bring on our long drive. We even had a little drinky drink of the water the day before to make sure not even a hint of plastic or whisper of bpa leached into our scrumptious water. Well, the day we were departing had finally arrived. We filled up the jug with our favorite and most valuable substance in this earth, nice cold refreshing Reverse Osmosis water. We screwed the lid on tight, and headed out to hang it from a carabiniere in the back of our car, the bottom of the bag resting on my husbands crafty custom built shelf for extra storage in the back of our trusty crusty filled to the brim CRV. The car ride started out as they all do. Snacks were brought out, the alphabet game was played. Twice. We were about 5 hrs down the road and 8 minutes in to a Harry Styles sing-along, enjoying the flat roads and clear skies, when to our absolute horror- what I can only attribute to being a backseat goblin- whipped out his goblin sized machete and THRASHED the handle off of our poor CoreMuse Camping Water Container 2.1 Gallon Collapsible Water Jug With Spout TM. The jug did its best to hold on, but eventually broke under the pressure, the agonizing pain. It finally let go, down, down, down. And SPLAT. Water went EVERYWHERE. We were absolutely horrified. The damage was irreparable. It was like a hopeless murder scene- just replace the victim with our adorable collapsible water jug, and the blood with 2.1 gallons of our precious, valuable Reverse Osmosis water. Additionally- and later what we would find to our further horror- our sleeping quarters, (aka the back of said CRV), got absolutely drenched in the crossfire. The aftermath was not pretty. If you think otherwise, you try cleaning up the aftermath of 2.1 gallons of sorrow and rage with only a handful of gas station paper towels with your husband. Our dear little jug died that day. Our smiles. Our morale. Even Harry was lamenting, singing softly over bluetooth; "you know it's not the same as it was." And Harry was right. The road trip was never the same from that moment forward. Our mouths dry, our throats hot. Our poor thirsty esophagi deprived of our delicious and nutritious Reverse Osmosis water, which eventually evaporated from the sleeping bag atop our bed, along with all our remaining hopes and dreams. And of course, grieving the loss of our poor collapsible water jug, whom we affectionately called CoreMuse. You can call us dramatic. You can label us as water snobs. But my friend, we're warning you. Don't purchase if you want to escape the emotional turmoil, deep disappointment and dehydration we faced on this car ride. I only wish we could have saved our little jug from the trauma, by never buying him in the first place. It was too much pressure for the little guy. He had such a short life. Please consider not buying and instead joining the Freedom for CoreMuse Campaign in a stand against purchasing defective and sub-par quality water jugs. RIP little jug, you will be missed.

I love the concept of this, but had some issues with it. I took it on a camping trip just recently. Filled up the water bag, and sat in on the picnic table bench so I could wash some dishes. For one, the spigot is really hard to open and close at times and seemed like it kept getting stuck. Pretty annoying to deal with when you have soapy hands or just trying to rinse something off real quick. As I was using it and water was draining out of it, the bag kept shifting around and I had to keep stopping it from falling. Eventually it did fall, from about a foot high. Somehow it got a tiny little hole in the bottom when it fell, and started leaking after that. I thankfully had some duct tape which helped me be able to still use it. Not durable at all. I do like how small it folds up though, making it easy to pack. I do not imagine it is easy to clean however. Love the concept, product needs work.
