No having to do anything but set it out. Set-up: A breeze…unfold and lay down. Comfort: Great no issues at all. Easy to sleep. Durability: AWESOME! Really why I wanted to write a review. Held me no issues sleeping, we were in cramped quarters so there were times I was having to do some creative yoga poses to make adjustments in the tent, which made some times when all 250lbs of me were in specific spots, zero issues at all. We needed an extra bed for hotels this summer. We have a family of 5 and rooms only accomodate 4 people. My 14 year old daughter slept on this bed every night on our 2 week road trip. It folds and unfolds easily and we always found a spot in our hotel room to place it. (We stay in normal size rooms not suites) It kept its shape well! and was pretty comfortable, unlike other cots where you could feel the bars underneath you. This bed was not like that.. The cons to this bed was it doesn't lie flat. The head rest is always a bit elevated. Not a huge deal, but it got old for 2 weeks. She just wanted to lie flat. The other con is that it is a little bit noisy. you can hear the fabric of the cot every time you move. Adding sheets and bedding to the top helped, but if you are a light sleeper it might keep you up at night. Overall we tested several cots and this one was by far one of the most comfortable. ... show more

I have been using this cot for a couple of weeks now and I really enjoy it. It is a little bulkier than I imagined, but after having it I realize it was my imagination that was the problem, not the cot. It is a bright color. I don't use the pouch, but it is like a standard thin material you would find in a tent. It serves the purpose for which it was designed. The tilt at the head was irritating at first, but I kind of love how it keeps my pillow from sliding off the edge, which is another me problem, but is solved by the tilt. The carrying bag is not durable or sturdy at all. When storing the cot, I keep the feet up at the opening to avoid the no-slip texture tearing the bag. I carry the thing like a baby to avoid putting stress on the strap because I just don't have faith in the carrying strap and the cot is not light. It isn't uncomfortably heavy for short distances, but impractical if you planned to hike with it or something. So far I haven't seen any stress wear in the corners, but it has only been slept on for a maximum of 18 days and was only collapsed 3 times in that timeframe, so take what you will from that. It was really hard to get to collapse the first time and I had to have help, but after that it was much easier. My niece slept on it and said she had expected it to be really uncomfortable with how it dips in the middle but with a few blankets on top told me she slept so well she didn't want to go back to her bed. I purchased a camping pad separately and now I have to agree with my niece. I will certainly be purchasing more of these for the summer. Edit after 2 years: I have been sleeping exclusively on this cot for approximately a year now, and it is still just as 5-star to me. I weigh around 220lbs, so I really expected more wear and tear on this product. It creaks when I adjust too much, but otherwise it is solid. I am super pleased with this purchase! ... show more

As a larger guy I’m always hesitant when it comes to dimensions and weight limits on things. This cot was bought for me to use in my tent when we have long atv outings. This thing is unbelievable comfortable and after a long day of riding in mud and bounces over rocks it’s the only way I’ve found to not wake up stiff. Big guy approved! I will be buying more. I ordered two of these in different colors. One came in the low quality bag that other reviews mentioned and one came in a much better bag that looks like it will hold up over time. The pros: easy to set up and fold away, which is a good feature for a portable cot and the primary reason I selected this product. The cons: It’s still a bit too narrow for a cot boasting such a high weight capacity. I’m 5’9” and 220 lbs and I feel like I’m way too big for this cot. My arms hang over the edges when I lay on my back and side sleeping is hindered by the sag in the middle. I’ll keep them to share with anyone that may need an alternative to use, but I’m going to stick with a high quality air mattress. This cot isn’t as sturdy as I hoped it would be and the frame has some uncomfortable points on the sides that just don’t feel right. The lesson I learned is that I would never buy another cot I couldn’t try out first, but these would be ok for smaller adults and kids. ... show more
