Made in Vietnam. It will not need a long break in period as the leather is very supple yet durable. I feel they run a tad bit wide but that is perfect for me so keep that in mind when you order. These boots are great everyday wears, even in snow. I wouldn't necessarily recommend doing a day hike in them, but I've trudged around town after a good 3-4 inch NH snow and had no problems with wetness or cold feet. As with all the Camper no-ties, don't expect them to fit like a glove, but they stay on just fine and wear well. ... show more

I've always been a fan of Camper. I went through two pairs of Pelotas, and I wanted to try something different. They're even more comfortable than Pelotas or Pelotas light, and they look very COOL. The only issue that I had was with the size. I wear US 10.5, which translates to 43.5 European size. Camper 44 were way too big for me. 43 was my right size, which according to Camper is 9.5 US.
