This is a nice small cooler, perfect for my application. I do a lot of cross country motorcycle trips and always carry a cooler. This cooler fits perfectly on the passenger seat. It has a good price, is built very well and lightweight. I haven’t tried it in the heat of summer yet, but being as thick as it is, I have high hopes that everything will stay cool. No drain plug so leaking isn’t going to be a problem and they have many colors to pick from. Update: 5/8/25 I got to use the cooler on a five day motorcycle ride and it worked great. I've never owned a nice cooler. I work outside all day, every day and am tired of warm sandwiches. Today, it is 96-degrees with a heat index of 107. This cooler sat in the backseat of my car for over 4 hours with 3 little ice packs and my lunch. I would guess the car was well north of 110-degrees. When I opened the cooler at lunch, it made my day to find my topo chico ice cold, my lunch cold, and the ice packs still entirely frozen. I picked this up to use for a lunchbox. I work outside year round and summer can be brutal when trying to keep stuff cold all day. This worked perfectly. It is small but fits everything I need for a days work. Couple sandwiches, couple drinks and a few snacks. I use one ice pack and it’s still pretty much frozen at days end. No issues staying cold even when sitting out in direct sun. I did use it for a weekend music festival for my “carry around” cooler. It kept ice all weekend with no need to refill. That was with getting into it multiple times throughout the day. Handle is stiff but adds to the overall rugged feel. I gave it 4 stars because it isn't tall enough for bottles. A basic 16.9 oz bottle of coke doesn't fit. So any bottles about that size you need to lay them down. The cooler is a great little cooler. If they made it an inch taller it would have been perfect. I did return it and purchased a 16.9 Tall Camp Zero Cooler. I do have a 24 quart yeti but it is large for one person. The camp zero 16.9 is perfect for one or 2 people. Tall enough to fit a wine bottle. Can fit fit all types and sizes of beer,soda and water bottles. All standing up. Stays nice and cold all day. The best way to use it is put some ice in it the night before. Then the next day the cooler is cold. Will stay colder longer. ... show more

OK this smaller cooler is the right size for a short camping trip.This cooler is light to carry keeps your food for at lease 8 hours you will have to use freezer pads I use the medical cloth small bags IIT last more than5 hours.You can use this well built cooler for job sites. How about in a pinch a hurricane storm fill cooler with home water emergency.I am pleased with this smaller cooler thank you for a great reasonable price cooler. Will use as my lunch box it's the perfect size, was able to put in one can of energy drink plus a Gatorade bottle plus my sandwich, chips, snacks and 2 ice blocks, and everything fit. Kept my drinks cold which is important to me. Glad I bought it. The handle is a bit hard to put in the upright position but I think it will get smoother with use. The only downside is the locking handles I don’t like them wish they were easier to open and close. ... show more

We wanted to try another cooler out and decided on this Camp Zero. Reason why is that our Yeti 15 only held ice for a day and barely a night. Not sure if defected or not? The Camp Zero 10 has been holding on to a rather large chunk of ice, still on the 3rd day. Both coolers were in a shed at approximately 80 degrees. We are not cooler "testers" However the first cooler was such a disappointment after 3 tries, we needed to move on from it.
