Handy set that is very compact. Very easy cleanup.

    • Anodized aluminum
This is a fairly compact camp cookware set. but it's absolutely not non-stick. The pans are all anodized aluminum and have no non-stick coating at all. Cooking on the fry pan is a major pain because of that. Forget about eggs or you'll be scrubbing a mess for a hour - even using tons of butter. I have other camping cookware that is a more compact design but I really wanted non-stick since cleanup has been such a problem. Sadly, while this is a cute set, it's no easier to clean. The pot and pan are good size and cook terribly, as expected for thin aluminum. The pot boils quickly and is the most useful thing in the kit. The little plastic bowls are OK but a couple of plates would be better. While the kit claims it's for 4-5 people there's 4 tiny bowls and two sets of cutlery. It's probably best to plan for extra utensils and plates. As far as camping, this is compact but pretty huge and excessive for backpacking. ... show more

I am so completely happy with this set!! Just spent a weekend camping with my kids and this was the best thing I could have brought. The deep pot was great for making pasta and I was happy to have the little plastic disk to use to place my utensils on as I cooked. I cooked an entire box of pasta in it. The teapot was fantastic - I boiled water for instant grits in the morning and the girls loved it! fried up some eggs in the skillet and used the included scrubby for cleaning up!
