Nice waterproof quick reference cards to figure out camera setting for different shooting scenarios. Some of the instructions were oversimplified, and I wasn’t sure what all the modes were - but overall it’s a handy reference for a casual shooter looking for step past the automatic settings built into your DSLR.

I've been into photography since 2012. I just found out about these cue cards. I wish I have had these all along. Even though I've been shooting for a long while, these are a great reminder of the basics and will come in super handy when I need to brush up on something I haven't shot in a while. I even bought a set to give away as a present.

I've been using SLR or DSLR cameras for years. However, I almost always used the automatic setting, with or without flash. Occasionally, I used a cabled remote shutter for long exposures. I had little knowledge of aperture, f-stops, depth of field, etc. So, the terms on these cards would have made my eyes flutter. I did finally take a beginner's class in photography last fall. Unless I practice with it frequently, it is easy to forget camera settings when I actually need to know this information. So, this set of "cheat sheets" comes in handy whether it is when I am ready to take a picture, or when I just want to refresh my memory. These don't take up much space. They easily fit in a camera case, or can be left on the night stand or end table, where I can just pick them up to look through. The description says they are "from high-quality PVC." They do feel pretty durable under normal use, not just card stock. I've considered carrying them in my pocket. But, even as durable as they are, riding in a pocket could crease or bend them up a bit. They are durable but not indestructible. It didn't a lot of time to figure out the layout of the information on the cards. But, I did have to read them through several times to understand it. For someone more experienced with the settings, they will probably catch on quicker than I and use these more as a reminder. Since there are just five double sided cards, it is fairly simple to locate the information I need. I know this set is a valuable tool for photographers. But, since I am cheap, I cannot say that I would have thought to pay $19.99 for these. Now, that I have taken a class on general photography, and have had a chance to look over this set, I see the value in these. The initial price for these was $21.99. The current $19.99 is even more appealing and more of a value. I am giving this five stars. As a sort of beginner, especially with the terms and settings, this is great information for me. The material this is printed on is durable. The graphics and text are clear. Information is easily accessible.

These are extremely helpful information cards that give you what you need to know when taking photographs with your vamers and don't want to just use automatic. They are about the size of a 3x5 card. They come with a ring to keep them together, making them very portable and easy to carry. They give short concise info and also an explanation making them easy to understand. They are vey professional looking, and each card is a different color making them easy to find which one you are looking for, as well. They are made of a plastic making them very durable. I am looking forward to making some excellent photos with mine! Definitely worth your money!

The Zim Tool CameraCues Photography Cheat Sheet Cards are handy to have for many photographers, from beginners to more seasoned amateurs. The set comes in a set of five, roughly credit card sized and double sided, with basic camera and equipment tips for different photographic subjects. The cards cover many common subjects or modes: landscape, architecture, the moon, birds. waterfalls, portraits, low light, action, and macro. Each indicates the preferred camera mode, need for a tripod, ISO, aperture, shutter speed, focal length, drive mode, and AF mode. They also have a brief paragraph with additional information. These would be great for beginners, but while I have done amateur photography for years, I still find these useful, as I shoot mostly landscapes and settings for other subjects don't come as quickly. With these, I can just take a quick look and refresh my memory. I like that these come with a ring to hold them together and hook onto a camera bag or strap. The one negative for me, and the reason I am giving these only four stars, is that they are rather expensive for what one gets. I like the cards, but I feel they would be fair at about half the price. I recommend them to anyone who doesn't mind paying the price.
