I dinged my A7RIII the first week after I got it and that made me look for a protective option. I would absolutely recommend getting this product. Here are some highlights. - Well fitting: The case fits extremely well and has no extraneous material. Buttons line up perfectly, cutouts match and the contour of the camera is followed accurately. - Protective: The case isn't too thin or thick, but perfectly protects the camera from scratches, bumps or even a small drop. It makes me feel confident about tossing it around in a bag or handling it less delicately than I would without the case. Feels like a solid brick when I place it on the table - in a good way. - Additional grip: If you have big hands, this will make the grip feel more full. The texture is what really separates this from others, it feels good, looks good and gives it additional feel grip. - Looks great: Like I mentioned already, I feel like this adds to the overall look of the camera with the mat finish. The buttons have a subdued look which makes it look even better. Things that could be improved: - Flaunts branding: The biggest thing for me is that I wish there was a version of this product that covers the logo and model in the front and back. I don't like to show-off an expensive camera on the streets, especially when traveling. - The bottom is too exposed / there are thin floppy pieces: there is a big opening for the screw mount and battery door at the bottom, I wish the opening was smaller. Perhaps just around the screw and battery door only, this way the material in this area wouldn't be as floppy. Right now the piece below the screen is thin enough that it shifts around easily. - Too soft: this doesn't bother me too much, but it's worth noting that the silicone is very soft and can stretch in a few ways when handling the camera. Like I mentioned, it doesn't bother me too much in daily operation. Would be interested if the silicone was a bit firmer / stiffer. - Harder to turn on: The cutout around the power button makes it harder to turn on. Takes a little to get used to. ... show more

PROS: *The case arrived on-time, and was in perfect condition. *I was hoping for a bright yellow color, as was shown in the product photos- and that's exactly what it was! *It is attention-grabbing! Right after I received this case, I filmed a 4-day convention, and had people coming up to me, asking me all about the camera, asking me about my business, noticing me walking around with it, and as a result they were being more camera-friendly when they would see me walking around. *There's definitely more of a grip. There's almost no chance of it slipping. *This case fits my Sony a7iii perfectly! There is no wiggle room, and every button is and knob has a place in this case. *You can still swtich lenses out seamlessly! There's no interference at all! CONS: *Do not attempt to use this case if you're shooting with a Tripod or Gimbal! The bottom part of this rubber case will always be between the camera and the mounting plate, and it will ALWAYS wiggle out of place, and cause the camera to unwind itself almost immediately. I only had to learn this lesson once during that convention shoot, and thankfully I was prepared for the idea that it could happen- because as soon as mounted my camera onto my Ronin-S and balanced it, the camera immediately begun spinning itself loose, and so I ONLY use this rubber case when I know I will be shooting handheld for a while. *Do not just rip this case off and on. You have to take a minute or two and be delicate with it, so you don't end up tearing or stretching it or anything. OVERALL: I am very happy with this rubber case. I am very glad I bought it! Yellow is my favorite color, and even though its main function is to keep away dust, dirt, and provide more grip- I truly enjoy the aesthetic of having a yellow camera. It's the same feeling I would have if I were to buy a yellow Playstation controller or a yellow Adidas jacket. It just looks cool to me! I am absolutely going to purchase more of these in other colors too, maybe to switch it up when I shoot for repeat clients. ... show more

Gives me a bit of extra confidence knowing it's protected. - Makes the grip feel more full. The texture feels and looks good. CONS: - Battery door does not open freely. This is the one spot where the cutout does not see to be spot on - The cover for the flash is a bit goofy. Makes putting on the flash a bit difficult. - Hard to make out what the buttons are for, but not a deal breaker ... show more

As an owner of a Sony A7iii, you worry about your camera and protecting your investment. This case for the camera is perfect for protecting the exterior of the camera, without feeling like you’re adding on too much extra weight to it. It’s easy to put on and take off, and gives your camera a more grippy feel. My only complaint is the rubber being to high for the shutter speed dial making it very difficult to turn. I made a slight modification and trimmed it down a bit and now it is perfect. I’ve order multiple of these to keep me camera safe and can’t recommend it enough! ... show more

Received the case today. Fits perfectly. Be sure to take off your straps and lens before putting this onto the camera. It fits snug to the body which is what you want. I also like the fact that it goes directly into the hot shoe area as well. There is a little tab that slides right into the hot shoe giving an added sense of protection. I feel like this is a great investment that provides some added protection for the camera without adding a lot of weight or bulkiness to the body. I don’t know about the other brands out there but highly recommend this one. Oh, one thing to keep in mind. Since the case is snug, it does make it a little challenging to access some controls on the camera, like the lens release button. You can still access it but it got to be a little tricky. Also, the video recording button gets covered so you have to know where that is exactly with this on. In the end, I decided to use the cover on an as-needed basis. Meaning if I'm anywhere that might be exposed to the elements or risk of bumping, then it goes on with no hesitation. Fits ok for the most part. Feels grippy and durable. Rear dial is covered and difficult to use and same for the on/off switch. I will have to cut a piece to expose the dial. Hot show cover is good if you never use a flash,bad design should fold towards front of the Camera same direction the flash goes on. The buttons work ok so far. Should’ve bought this from the beginning of owning my Sony. These cameras are too compact making the body dense & easier to damage. This cover not only gives it protection but also serves as extra grip!! & it makes it look pretty too. Important things to note: Because of the tight figment it does make it difficult to open & close the SD card latch. It stops it from opening automatically & it bites on the cover when trying to close it. But I can easily overlook this. If this one problem is fixed. Nice product, fits very well and IMO actually gives the camera a better feel by adding a little more area to grip. Like others said I wish it didn't cover the hot shoe because it is a task trying to attach a flash or trigger. I took an exacto knife and trimmed it off the flap, if you purchase and decide to do the same I would recommend putting the cover on the camera, drawing a line where you want to cut, and taking the cover back off to make the cut so you do not damage the camera. It also makes the dials a little tough to use but they are manageable. I purchased the white cover, it really changes the look of the camera, it doesn't quite match the white on the Sony zoom lenses like I was hoping but still looks pretty cool and definitely makes people look twice. Four stars for having to cut out the hot shoe cover but I would give five stars for the look, fit and feel of the cover. ... show more
