I had two issues with my old water bottles. The water would get warm after 20 minutes of riding, and I’d be drinking dirt after a mile on the trail. This bottle has remedied both issues. The dust cap keeps the crud from getting in, and the insulation keeps the drinks cold for at least a good 1.5 hours in the Florida heat and humidity. Even longer if it’s a cloudy/ shaded day. The only problem with the dust cap is it’s hard to mess with as you ride, so you’ll have to be real adept at riding with one hand on a trail, wait until there’s a straightaway, or stop to take a drink. Great bottle, keeps water in adequate temperature during multi hour rides in a hot weather. I think it is a sweet spot in insulation level for these type of bottles, it is chill enough to drink avoiding that hot water bottle unpleasant taste, and still light enough. Using these bottles for years. Tip: If you already have one of these bottles, non "dirt" version (without dirt cap), you might just buy dirt cap separately for your bottle. ... show more
