Not sure if I got a dud or not, but even with the external mic powered and plugged in, it will not record sound at all. The sound settings in the menu are on, but it still will not record any sound. The battery life is deplorable. A full battery charge lasts maybe 5-10 minutes. I have to keep it plugged in to use it, which kind of defeats the purpose. I am very unhappy with the quality of this video camera. I had thought I could use this camera for live band show recordings however this camera has the worst sound quality I’ve ever come across my cell phone makes this camera looks silly unfortunately they don’t give you any kind of inkling as to sound quality and its limitations I will never purchase anything of this kind from Amazon again ... show more

I was anxious to receive this camera and it exceeded my expectations, it is a compact camera, with good finishes; the screen is adequate to view the recorded content as a preview, the camera can record in 4K, but this is best appreciated on a monitor with these characteristics, it has all the elements described: the camera support with its microphone, 2 memory batteries and yes I received the control, everything went perfect. ... show more

Purchased the Dingetu Camrecorder 4K HD 48 MP used. The shipping took 19 days. The shipping box was crushed and the camera and parts were in a plastic bag. The product description said it would come in original container and was like new. There were no instruction included. It was returned.

4k video was blurry, and color was horrible better off buying a old iPhone it does a better job. What a disappointment I was looking forward to having good video . And sound was so bad . Don’t waste you’re time and money .
