The video quality is quite good for what I need. The colors are bright and the images are fairly clear. I have filmed my kids playing in the backyard and some scenic views on a recent hike. The 64 megapixel photos are a nice bonus too, they look decent when I view them on my computer. The 16X digital zoom lets you get closer to things from a distance. One trick to know is that it has two modes, on for still and one for video. So if you've been taking pictures (using the top button) and you click video recording (using the back button) the display will say "please wait" for a second. Click again and it will say "Starting recording". That's it. Just point and shoot. Couldn't be simpler to use. Zoom toggle is perfectly placed under your index finger. it's compact and very light, the video quality is amazing, the sound is good, the features, the easy setting, the price, the 32GB free SD card, the battery life, the connection with phone, and more. By default it records front and back, the 2 batteries come fully charged, the image stabilizer works well. I tried the video initially in dark conditions, and the camera was able to compensate very well - the video turned out great almost as if the lighting in the room had been normal, and without any graininess. The detail is astounding in the image quality. The touchscreen on the control screen is a nice touch and makes it much easier to operate . My wife was also very impressed, which is noteworthy. I loved this camera! Apart from the quality being very good, it can even be seen very clearly at night! The package comes all very well prepared, with a battery that is rechargeable and durable.
