The addition of the ladder hook is a bonus. The tow ring is what really makes this easier to use & not so heavy! Appreciate the additional hose & its attachments so I didn’t need to purchase anything to actually use. Ready with everything right out of the box. Just wish that there was an easier way to monitor how full it is while filling though. Great product. Rugged & durable. This is a must for campers. Avoid breaking down your campsite just to dump your gray waste, then set it up again. Smaller RV's should all have one of these. I only put gray water in mine and hope to never have to use it for black water. It's not too heavy to tilt up and place onto my hitch, which I had worried about. I could have probably even went one size up but was worried it would be too heavy. The only improvement I would suggest is outfitting the tote with a level gauge. They may make one for after market, if they do it would be worth getting one. ... show more

I just purchased this item and I wanted to address 3 issues that I had read in the reviews. I recently took a trip out of state and was camped at a state park for over a week and I saw another person had this tank (the 28 gallon version) and I asked him about it—I was sold! I personally purchased the 21 gallon version and upon reading the reviews, I was leery about a few things: First of all, people had said that their unit came with the handles cracked and tanks leaking. Mine was packaged well and the handle seems quite stout and made out of strong plastic. With that said, I did happen to meet my UPS driver when she delivered it and the box was intact. The second issue that I had read about was the wheels falling off due to the friction stop caps that apparently held the wheels on. Perhaps the company updated their units because mine came with the axle grooved on the ends of the wheels and circlips were installed (the wheels were pre-installed in the box). I included a photo of this. The third issue that I had read about was that the towing attachment apparently dug grooves into the top of the tank when people towed a full tank to the dump station. I guess that I’m not sure about this, since I just purchased it and have not used it yet. The plastic that the tank is molded out of is very thick and seems quite durable. I did have a preemptive plan to weld a piece of 1/8” flat bar to span the gap on the 2 hooks based on the reviews I had read. When I unboxed my tank, I saw that the hooks have a protective cushion on them that was not depicted in other photos (perhaps another update to the design). For me, time will tell as to whether or not I need to bust out the welder. I included a photo of the towing attachment as well. I will update my review if I do need to make the modification but for now, I’ll try it like it is. With that said, I purchased the 21 gallon version and I don’t plan on going off-roading with my tank in tow; just 5-10mph on the road to the dump station! For now, I give it 4 stars simply because I haven’t used it yet. It certainly appears to be a 5 star product; robustly constructed, well designed and extremely handy and convenient! The unit came free of apparent defects, the wheels will not fall off and time will tell if I need to put on my welding hood—haha! ... show more

I like it because it solved a sewage handling problem with my RV in some camps. The hose washout fitting broke with the first use. Poor design for plastic. Plan to machine a sturdy one to take its place. Time will tell if wheels hold up. Don't use the towing bar. I think that could be a disastrous mess in the making. I have a class B that rides low to the ground, so dumping the black or grey is hard as the outlet on the van is lower than the inlet to most dump stations. The Rhino lets me dump from the B into the tote, then I can wheel the tote uphill to my home dump station. This thing is solid! Built like a kayak, tough and sturdy! I like the built-in sprayer and the hitch tow bar as well as the ladder hook! These are awesome features that put it a step above others in its quality and usability. I was worried the wheels would be flimsy, but they look and feel tough, and they're holding up just fine. Really happy with my purchase. Has all the fittings and hoses you could possibly need. I was surprised with how well the internal sprinkler nozzle thoroughly cleaned the inside of the tank. Once emptied and cleaned its as if it was never used. I have a truck camper with a 5 gallon black tank and I empty the contents into this. If there were a smaller tank, say 10 gallon, I would have opted for that because it would be a little easier to lift if I need to. Still, this one maneuvers quite well. ... show more
