This sewer hose support is very durable and very much needed for anyone who has an RV or travel trailer. It is very easy to use. You simply pull out the sidewinder and place your hose on top and your hose will snap in place. You can also adjust the sidewinder for a longer length or a shorter length and it stays in place fairly well. Although the hose snaps in place, if you are on grass, it loosens when you are positioning or trying to do a quick drain of the hose. If you pull on one end too hard the entire sidewinder will fall. I have had that problem only while camping on grass, not on concrete. The sidewinder keeps the hose in place while or if I need to do a quick maneuver at the other end but on grass, it is not very sturdy and will collapse. So I have to touch it gently so it will remain in place and so far so good. UPDATE: I have had this product over a year and it is still very durable, and easy to clean and pack away for future use. Some of the sites that we have been to have uneven grounds. Luckily, the sidewinder is wide enough to place a piece of wood under the section of the hose that is drooping, allowing for a continuous flow. Since purchasing our RV we have noted many people using sewer hose supports while at various parks. When I was in the market for a new hose decided to splurge and purchase a sewer hose support as well and I am very glad I did. As anyone who RV's knows when you empty the tanks at the end of your vacation it isn't much fun having to lift the hose up to ensure that all the matter inside has drained out or worse yet thinking the hose is empty then moving it only to end up with shoes covered in nasties. This sewer hose support will see an end to those worries. The support is made out of plastic and is very easy to set up and take down. After removing the orange holder I set it under the sewer connector on the RV and then gently pulled it out until it reached the park sewer connection. Once in place I then lifted the hose onto the support and ensured it was sitting securely, I could see at this time that my sewer hose was angled in a natural downward slopping manner towards the park sewer connection. At the end of our vacation I opened the black tank and waited while it drained out, with the sewer hose support in place everything moved through the hose very quickly and without leaving anything stuck in the hose. Following I flushed out the grey tank and again was so very happy to stand and be able to see that everything was draining out and I didn't have to lift it to clear any obstructions. Once the tanks had been completed drained detached the hose and was so happy to not have any nasties dripping out the end. The support folds up easily just by folding it into itself, I agree with other reviews the orange plastic holder caused me some problems when trying to secure it to the support. However when I arrived home I found that like the hose support the orange keeper is also has a tall end and short end, if you take the time to look at it and ensure that the short end is placed over the short end of the support you won't have any trouble using it to keep the support together when not in use. Only taken this out on one trip so far but it really is worth the money I paid for it and I'm hoping it stands up to use over time, should it be necessary I will update my review.

This is the second one I've bought, after the old one finally fell apart from age and use. It makes the hose follow a constant slope from your RV to the sewer hook up, and that makes it a better dumping experience. One thing I'll suggest is that if you leave your grey water valve open during your stay, then take a small section of hose off the support and let it lay on the ground. That will create a trap that collects water and will keep the sewer smells from coming up into your RV. Then put it back on the support while actually dumping.

I resisted buying one of these until I learned that some campgrounds require them. Arrived a day before we left for a trip with full hookups and I got to use it. Almost no slope to our connection, I'd be full on cousin Eddie trying to get the tanks to drain without it.

Used for the first time a couple of weeks ago on a trip to the Fl. Keys. Just a tip, you have to work out the spacing just right otherwise the hose will sag at a joint or two when you flush the tanks. Had to readjust the spacing several times when I dumped the tanks but next time will set up from the trailer first, then end at the drain. Also won't try to set up with the slide out (if your running under a slide). Crawling under to adjust was extremely uncomfortable.

This is EXACTLY what we needed to run our 25 ft sewer hose. You don't have to use the entire thing. I love that this accordions into itself for compact storage!! This was Amazon Prime so the shipping was fast and free! This is a must-have item for anyone with an RV that needs a long sewer run! PRO TIP: If you are using for more than a week or two, grab a cheap bag of zip ties and zip tie the hose to this support every couple feet. It is very easy to tip over and a pain to get back up. If you do tip it over, this keeps your hose and support as one!
