Features

  • Attract beneficial bees - solitary bees, specifically blue orchard mason, leaf cutter, or carpenter bees can greatly benefit pollinating spaces such as outdoor gardens, orchards and individual flowers.
  • Why attractant? - Do you find your bee houses with wooden trays, bamboo tubes or paper tube inserts failing to refill? Clay filler mix without a cocoon?
  • Options - Other citrus spray on sale can feel unsatisfactory. An empty nest is not our goal. Attracting small pollinators to our mann made insect hotel certainly is.
  • Stunning results - Easy to use spray bottle contains our crown recipe intended to imitate scent given off by beneficial solitary bees near mud, pollen, and nesting hives.
  • USA customer service - 100% money back guarantee

  • Hasn't worked so far
Hasn't worked so far. 2 days before leafcutters arrived sprayed each drilled block lightly. When released within a few feet bees didn't go to home. Moved the package of bees to top of one bee house later that morning. Still no interest. 2 days later sprayed one house again lightly set another as control. After another couple of days sprayed again except control. After about 2 weeks still no bees attracted. We'll wait and see but I am not too hopeful ... show more

  • Where are the bees?
First year trying to attract Mason bees. Put up houses. Sprayed with scent. Haven't seen a single bee! Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, maybe I didn't do it right. Don't know.

  • A good thing for the bees
I don't personally have a true bee house yet, but I plan on buying or building one as soon as I can, but in the meantime, I sprayed some of this on a series of old pipes and tubes I had stacked in the backyard just to see if it'd work. I now have a good-sized flock (herd? pod? gaggle?) of bees back there. I expect to see a ton of flowers ad fruits this year. The scent is pleasant enough, it's probably catnip for the bees, but that's beside the point. It only took a few days after spraying to gain a noticeable increase of bees, didn't really notice them until one tried to share my coffee with me. I'm thinking of taking a chunk of lumber, about 4x6 and 2 inches deep or so, and drilling a series of holes, different sizes, and putting a plate on the back to provide clean out access. If there are any apiarists out there, please let me know if this would work. Would I buy this again? Yes. Would I recommend this to others? Yes. ... show more

  • Seems to Be Helping
Last year I only had a few leaf cutters nest. I tried this spray this spring and so far I have a few more bees than last year. I am not sure if it is the attractant, but it seems like it could be working. Having so few bees next to my garden I was willing to test this spray out. My results may be hard to quantify, but it seems like there is an increase in activity this year using the spray over last year. ... show more
