This took a while to assemble with annoying instructions but when it was done it was able to hold all my shirts and pants along with a box at the bottom. I could most likely also fit hoodies as well. This is very high quality and has a lot of storage space. Very sturdy too.

Title: A Piece of Flimsy Junk: A Poor Garment Rack Purchase Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I recently purchased what seemed to be a practical solution to my clothing storage needs - the Calmootey garment rack from Amazon. Unfortunately, this purchase turned out to be a frustrating waste of money and time. First and foremost, the quality of materials used in this garment rack is abysmal. The moment I unwrapped it, I was met with a strong stench of cheap plastic and toxic chemicals. It felt as if I had just purchased a hazardous waste emitting contraption rather than a practical storage solution. This smell remained persistent, making it impossible to keep clothes on the rack without worrying about potential damage or unpleasant odors transferring onto the fabrics. Moreover, the construction of this rack is incredibly flimsy. The thin rods used for support bend under even the slightest weight, making it impossible to hang any clothing item heavier than a feather without risking a complete collapse. This is a major design flaw, especially for a garment rack that advertises itself as sturdy and reliable. I ended up having to remove most of my clothes from the rack, as they caused it to sway dangerously. The assembly process of this garment rack was, quite honestly, a nightmare. The instructions provided were confusing and lacked clarity, leaving me frustrated and spending an excessive amount of time trying to figure out how to put the pieces together. Even after following the instructions to the best of my ability, the rack still wobbled and felt incredibly unstable. It's clear that no effort was put into ensuring a user-friendly assembly process. To add insult to injury, the dimensions provided on the Amazon listing were completely inaccurate. The measurements claimed ample space for clothing storage, yet upon arrival, it was evident that the rack was much smaller than advertised. It barely accommodated a fraction of my clothes, leaving me with an unsightly pile on the floor. In conclusion, the Calmootey garment rack is undoubtedly one of the worst purchases I have made on Amazon. The poor quality materials, flimsy construction, frustrating assembly process, and misleading dimensions all contribute to an overall regrettable experience. Buyers beware - save your hard-earned money and invest in a more reliable and well-constructed garment rack.

A little disappointed. It was easy to put together however it was much lighter than I expected. I bought this to use for my children’s school clothes and they have managed to pull this down twice. It’s just not very sturdy. It looks good and holds items nicely but if you’re looking for more of a heavy duty clothing rack this is NOT it. I recommend anchoring this to a wall if you have children. Also one of the poles on the rack came chipped (which wasn’t the end of the world for me, I just figured I’d paint it to match the rest). **UPDATE** The company did contact me and issue a full refund because of the issue.
