Features

  • The new face architecture required FS2S titanium, an extremely strong material thats 6 grams lighter than traditional titanium to promote optimal speed, forgiveness, and spin robustness.
  • Two internal Jailbreak bars connect the sole and crown to promote fast ball speed, and the significantly lighter carbon crown allows us to redistribute weight for higher MOI.
  • The new Cyclone Aero shape dramatically decreases drag for increased club head speed.
  • We also used A. I. to design a sophisticated internal titanium rib system that fine-tunes the head to produce a deeper, highly satisfying sound.

  • Terrible Experience... Seller does not communicate on the PARTIAL REFUND!
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Project X Evenflow Riptide 50G Flex: Regular Loft: 9 Degrees
I bought the club for $599, and the shaft broke in half after two months. Then... This seller indicated that they would accept a full exchange. So, I sent it to them for exchange, and they only exchanged $229. They gave me no choice in the matter at all! They just decided upon themselves to give me $229 ONLY! I wouldn't have exchanged my club! callaway was going to fix it for free and give the club back to me brand new with a new shaft still under warranty!!! But this seller indicated a full refund! They kept the head, I guess, and refurbished this. It's terrible!!! I was not completely informed with this refund. trust me - I would have never refunded the club had I known I would get a partial refund! This sucks. ... show more

  • Nice Driver - 10.5 - light shaft
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Project X Evenflow Riptide 50G Flex: Light Loft: 10.5 Degrees
Taking a few practices to get used to it but getting better each time! 5 sessions! light with a nice click sound on contact. I draw the ball but set it to Neutral, standard, 10.5 on my last session and was able to get a nice solid straight shot! Callaway dropped the price to $200 as they clear them out for newer models so if you can find one buy it! ... show more

  • Explosive distance
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Project X Evenflow Riptide 50G Flex: Stiff Loft: 10.5 Degrees
I was hesitant to spend $500 on a driver, typically try to stay in the $300 range, but decided to give this bad boy a try. Best decision ever. This thing is a beast. I've been asked multiple times to let other people try it, and they have all loved it. A++ Callaway

  • Sending moonshots
Seemed like an average driver at first, little long took it to a store and had a 1/2 inch taken off. Went to the driving range and was standing beside a cute girl when a took my driver out and removed the cover when she looked at me and said “nice shaft” my knees trembling as I took my stance I pulled back the driver and began my decent towards the ball. As I made contact I had to stop briefly and request liftoff from Houston because I sent that little sucked into orbit… all in all love the driver good quality and feels good when you swing it! ... show more

  • Average at best
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Project X Evenflow Riptide 50G Flex: Regular Loft: 10.5 Degrees
I was looking forward to a new driver to replace my R11 from 10 years ago. I have a rocketbalz 3 wood which crushes the ball but used ones were pushing $200 online so when I saw the Mavrik for $299 I was pumped. If I was going to spend $200 for the old club I may as well spend $300 for one of the top new drivers, right? I figured with the mighty Mavrik I would be hitting it 20-30 yards further easy than my old R11! Boy was I wrong! The R11 from 10 years ago is far superior. The ball jumps off the R11 but does not jump off the Mavrik. The Mavrik feels like it is dead when you hit the ball. Granted I could hit the ball almost as far with the Mavrik but what is the point of a Supposedly far superior club hitting almost as good as a ten year old R11? Save your money and get a 10 year old R11 or Rocketbalz used club! Fortunately when I ordered the Mavrik it came with free returns so that is just what I did with it! WB ... show more

  • Awesome driver
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Project X Evenflow Riptide 50G Flex: Regular Loft: 10.5 Degrees
Man, this is a great driver. The last driver I purchased was probably 5 or 6 years ago, so I found there have been some improvements in technology since then. It was hard to pay this much for one new golf club, but well worth it. I have noticed a lot of other people swinging the same club here in OK. I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Easy and forgiving driver. Maybe too easy
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Project X Evenflow Riptide 50G Flex: Regular Loft: 10.5 Degrees
Very easy to hit. Was hitting a Ping G400, and this Mavrik added 20 yards on average to my drives. Shaping shots is a smidgeon harder but workable. Very forgiving and makes a much nicer ballstrike sound like prior Callaway drivers

  • Lose 20 yards off your drive, not worth the price
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Aldila Rogue White 60G Flex: Stiff Loft: 9 Degrees
Forgiving? Not by much. Lost about 20 yards off my drive with this, plus the grip came way off centered as it has the align grip. I could have easily changed the grip but decided to return as either o got a bad product or this design is just terrible. I hit about 275 yards with my old drive consistently, could barely get 250 yards with the Maverick. I dont understand all the other positive reviews here. Been golfing for 30 years I've never seen a club just not work like this one lol. ... show more
