Description

ADAPT OR DIE IN A FIGHT AGAINST THE ULTIMATE THREAT In the direct sequel to the record-breaking Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II, Captain Price and Task Force 141 face off against the ultimate threat. The ultranationalist war criminal Vladimir Makarov is extending his grasp across the world causing Task Force 141 to fight like never before. Combat means making choices — different loadouts, different paths through the mission. In addition to the signature, cinematic Call of Duty® campaign missions, Modern Warfare® III introduces open combat missions that provide more player choice. There is no one-size-fits-all solution – it is your choice whether to take the stealthy approach or go loud taking on any and all foes. ITS TIME TO SETTLE OLD SCORES AND START NEW ONES Modern Warfare® III celebrates the 20th anniversary of Call of Duty® with one of the greatest collections of Multiplayer maps ever assembled - both fan favourites and all new ones. All 16 launch maps from the original Modern Warfare® 2 (2009) have been modernised with new modes and gameplay features and will be available at launch to get everyone started, while over 12 all-new core 6v6 maps will fuel post-launch live seasons. Modern Warfare III will also launch with new Ground War maps boasting innovative play spaces and the epic return and evolution of the popular War Mode that first debuted in 2017’s Call of Duty®: WWII. ALL NEW OPEN WORLD ZOMBIES For the first time, team up with other squads to survive and fight massive hordes of the undead in the largest Call of Duty® Zombies map ever. Modern Warfare® Zombies (MWZ) tells a new Treyarch Zombies story with missions, core Zombies features and secrets to discover. Ready up for an open world PvE survival experience against some of the biggest enemies in Call of Duty history.

  • Don’t Listen to the Haters
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5 Edition: Standard Edition
There’s more guns in this CoD than any before. The maps are from everyone’s favorite og 2009 game, but the visuals are much better. The gunplay is much better. It is very similar to last years offering MW2 2022, as was MW3 2011 was to MW2 2009. Call of Duty is one of those things that is best enjoyed while it’s happening, and when the next one comes you might ask yourself did I miss out on something? I’d say yes. This is the most refined Call of Duty to date, in terms of pure gameplay, visuals, cosmetic options, and 3 modes. The campaign is short if you’re not playing on Veteran, but I recommend playing on veteran or realism if you want the best experience. The MP is the best part to me. To the kids that weren’t old enough for MW2 2009, you can finally see why this game was so special to us. Then there’s Zombies, which is like DMZ but PvE only. It’s very fun, albeit different from the more traditional round based zombies people are used to. Perk colas, wall buys and pack a punch are all here though, and despite it being MW3, you can still feel Treyarchs DNA in the mode. So why is everyone so harsh on this game? I don’t know, but I’m not going to let it lessen my enjoyment of it. I’ve been playing MP since Call of Duty 2. I’ve played almost every single release. In the same way Fallout New Vegas is a more refined version of Fallout 3, the same can be said for this game and MW2. This is sledgehammer’s best work by a long shot. They didn’t reinvent the wheel. They made a bunch of minor changes that change the flow and feel of the game from MW2. Recoil isn’t so crazy anymore, higher TTK, movement is the biggest change, much more similar to MW2019. This is the first time I’ve felt like those old days back in 2009-2010 again, and I’m really glad the next generation can get to enjoy this. Aside from its kick ass campaign, I see no reason to go back to the original MW2. ... show more

  • Don't listen to the whiny kids
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5 Edition: Standard Edition
Yo I've been playing modern warfare since the original came out on PS3. Don't listen to all of these cancel culture kids who only get their endorphins from complaining about every little thing and trying to get things canceled unnecessarily. This game is sweet! The zombies mode is legit and will have you playing for hours on end. The muliplayer is off the hook with all of the classic MW2 maps and the upgraded graphics and details are awesome. This game is sweet and the multi-player is where it's at! I do not regret this one bit and have retired MW2. Don't listen to the kids with empty souls. This is a lot of fun and a well made game. ... show more

  • The worst COD campaign in the history of the franchise - and it's not even close
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5 Edition: Standard Edition
So bear with me…..as I’ve been carrying something with me for a while and need to speak up. I've been a gamer since the Atari days.....I've owned pretty much every console and game known to man. Call me a COD fanboy if you want. The COD series has always been something I've looked forward to every November. Not lately. Actually, not since COD MW2 (the original) for its multiplayer and before that is was COD 4 for its campaign, easily the best two games in the franchise history. For those of you veteran COD players, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Every year since those days, it’s been well “maybe this year” they will get it right. We are so fed up! Gone are the days of true side by side co-op, an engaging campaign, great MP maps, where it's actually enjoyable, playable and something you can’t wait to play again. The dev's and Activision seem hell bent on nickeling and diming you to death rather than focusing on developing a great game. I thought that MS acquisition of Activision would be better for the franchise but they have taken yet another step backwards. First, the game interface is confusing and everything seems to be hidden in an endless tree of options. Both for campaign and MP. Can I just get a simplified option to create a loadout that doesn’t involve a learning curve and the endless other options? Why does everything have to be so complicated?? Simplicity is what we want, when we start a game…not a headache. Want to play the campaign after loading your hard drive with 175Gb of data? Nope, have to download campaign packs 1 and 2 to play, another 25Gb. Why? Isn’t that why I bought the disc version? Shouldn’t this data be on the disc?? Last time I checked they can hold 100Gb of data. It’s infuriating. The campaign from the outset feels like DLC at best. The frame rates are jittery, cinematics are full of lag and the gameplay feels like a pre-historic PS3 was brought in for beta testing. So much for utilizing the processing power of the PS5 like GOW Ragnarok did. Graphically, the worst COD ever. The story is boring, lacks any kind of depth for epic characters like Makarov, Soap and Ghost. I felt zero investment going through the campaign and instead did stupid things like......jumping off a cliff or high wire walking on a crane then sprinting and power sliding off the edge. Out of map area warning? I just keep running kamikaze style. Why? Because it was more fun than playing the game. Everything feels disjointed. For the first time in years, I feel like I've been fleeced. And these games aren’t cheap, never mind “DLC Packs” and other “Add-ons”. What an awful, embarrassing blow to the franchise. If there is any saving grace to this game, it's that they brought back some of the most popular MP maps from MW2 that everyone has been asking for but the weapons and play feel much different from the original. But it's still nice seeing and playing those old maps. I genuinely feel bad about writing this review because I know how hard games are to make and how much time they put into them. But everything about this game feels cheap, hurried and that many corners were cut…in the art, writing and production department. This should be a cheap DLC pack not a $70 AAA title. I do not recommend this game, even at bargain bin prices. This once great franchise has been run into the ground at the expense of all of us who just want a great COD game. They need to reboot this with fresh eyes and start from scratch or it just won’t survive. I hate to say I would ever abandon the franchise but this may be the nail in the coffin for me. MS are your hearing us? ... show more

I think the negative reviews about COD MW3 are ridiculous. Yes, we get the same good old maps from previous MW game but they will never get old if you enjoy playing on them. Multiplayer game is super enjoyable! I definitely recommend this if you have some spare time to play a video game like Call Of Duty! Stay positive and enjoy the fun! ... show more

Platform For Display: PlayStation 5 Edition: Standard Edition
I was getting very upset with multiplayer for a while but I’m finally starting to get the hang of it, you are screwed with the starting weapons but I’m doing decent now. I don’t care for a few of the maps but it’s still a lot of fun. On the other hand, this is the most fun zombies I’ve play on any call of duty, I am obsessed now and can play for hours on end. ... show more
