I’ve only had it a couple of weeks, but I’ve used it several times. We have a cat so daily vacuuming is needed. One issue I noticed right away was that it was a little difficult to insert into the charger. No big deal. The first time I used it after charging upon arrival I noticed the charging status lights were not accurate. After about a minute of vacuum use the full charge light went from 3 lights to 2 lights. At that point I figured it was going to be returned. But even though the charge status lights weren’t accurate it continued to power the vacuum. No it isn’t as good as the original batteries it seems ok. Will see if it lasts. I have my doubts. Too bad shark stopped making the originals.

On a full charge this battery powered an IonFlex through only four rooms. When the original batteries were new they held a charge sufficient to vacuum nearly the entire house. This weak performance was primarily on hard wood floors. Less expensive replacement batteries are seldom as good as the originals but I did expect this one to last longer on its first use.

I did not find any difference in this battery and the Shark branded ones. It fit perfectly in the vacuum and charger alike and actually charged a little faster. The longevity is nearly the same as the Shark ones. This is a great replacement for aging batteries or if you just need an extra.

This is a perfect fit, and functionally exact replacement. Unfortunately, the battery life is not as good as one of the three year old OEM batteries. The price was not bad, but I expected it to perform better.
