I have tried many duvet covers from Amazon and most are meh. It protects my expensive down comforter but nothing exciting to write about. I purchased a flax linen from Morrow and that has been my go to for the hot summer months. I recently stayed at the Ritz and was wowed with their Frette bedding. The cotton sateen duvet was like sleeping on a cloud. I was looking to purchase one online but wasn't ready to pay $ 1K. Thus, I searched for a cotten sateen duvet on Amazon and took a chance on this one. It is not comparable to Frette but it is the best one I purchased on Amazon. This duvet was smooth and silky out of the box. After the initial wash, it wasn't as smooth but it is still soft and light. Maybe extra washes will make it softer? For the price, I am not worried if it doesn't last long. I am going to get extras in different colors. My cal- king comforter fits perfect in a queen duvet. ( hotel trick)

Although it is just a tad thinner than I was expecting, the duvet appears to be a good cotton quality. It’s very plain and white which is what I wanted. If you sleep with a sheet between your duvet and you then you’ll be fine and if you don’t use any bedding between you and this duvet you’ll be fine as it feels exactly like a soft smooth cotton sheet. The buttons are adequate and the corner ties work as designed. The duvet was packaged nicely and was a fair price.

Received this very quickly . The fit was a little big because I intentionally ordered it big , I have a king size comforter which is very thick . This was very easy to put over my comforter , and the feel of the material is so soft . This has the inside ties which are very convenient , I just wrapped them around the corners , very happy with the product .

This is beautiful and the ONLY place I was able to find an oversized king seersucker duvet cover. Oversized because I have a cal king bed and my kid keeps pulling the duvet off me in his sleep! There's no duvet in it, yet. I'm still shopping for one. It arrived 3 inches shorter than expected, 117 inches across the width vs 120 inches. I then laundered in hot water because, 100% cotton will shrink and this is best practice to get most of the shrinkage out of the way. The cover did not further shrink in the wash, so I'm guessing someone laundered it before me and shrunk it. I'm okay with a 3-inch discrepancy which was bound to happen upon laundering, anyway. 4 stars for this discrepancy. Otherwise, it is perfect. I bought the white seersucker in oversized king and I LOVE IT!! Edit: added a photo with the duvet in it. I ended up buying 3 of the IKEA lightweight down duvets, then stitched them together, lengthwise, to make one double-layer [Alaskan king?]. Which filled out the oversized king, quite nicely. So fluffy!

Okay it kills me to have to return these duvet covers (I bought 2 queen sets), but they are way too heavy for sleeping. I guess I should've been clued in by the "heavy slub" fabric description, but I just didn't know. These covers appear extremely high-end: substantial fabric and excellent quality. If you like heavy blankets, these would be perfect for you. Or if you want to beef-up the warmth factor of your existing comforter, this duvet cover is a great choice. The color leans "peachy", if that makes sense -- it's a warm beige, not a cool beige. Although this duvet cover is not for me, I cannot stress enough the high-end appearance.

I'm a bit of a bedding snob and I have found that over the years it's becoming increasingly difficult to get good sheets and duvets at a reasonable price. Even the higher-end ones have let me down in the past, so I've been stuck using my current duvet for 7+ years because I couldn't find anything I liked better. It was full, strong material, and held up to so many rounds of hot water/bleach cleanings. I FINALLY bit the bullet and tried this duvet as the old one is threadbare. I LOVE IT! I can't say how it will last because I haven't washed it yet but for the price, I don't care. It's soft, sateen feel makes it seem like a hotel duvet. Yes it is thin but that's what I wanted (to offset the heavy comforter) and the white is VERY white which I love. I bought the matching sheets and it's crisp, thin but in a light way not a cheap way. Now as for wrinkling, it's not the best but I think a quick hit with the steamer and it would be fine. I don't mind the wrinkles at all though. I'm seriously considering buying a second as a backup before something changes and they aren't available or something!

I read so many reviews of duvets on Amazon before I bought this one. I think I reviewed every duvet. I don’t usually do such intense research before I buy bed linens, but when I started reading many good reviews and bad reviews I became confused and had to eventually go with gut feeling. I am SO glad I picked this one! The fabric is smooth and soft. The size for my queen is perfect and it has corner ties and buttons. I wanted buttons because a wrap years ago I had a zipper one and the zipper got caught on the fabric and then it was useless. These hidden white buttons make me feel better if one pops off, just sew on an new one. Easy. I love the way it forms around my comforter and puffs up. It looks so cozy and feels like a cloud. I am so happy I chose this duvet!!!

Exact cotton sheets I was looking for. Soft and light. They do take some time to break into as they are cotton. Once broken in they feel really soft and almost silk like. However, when I got mine it smelt really sour so that was a con after a wash they smelt much better.
