Looking forward to putting this beanie to work during the gun season. In Wisconsin, it's deer hunting and Busch Latte's. Repping both in one garment is sweet. I like the way it fits too, it has some play so will adjust to a variety of head sizes. The material is premium quality, as is the look. It is on the thinner side, so i would still have a thicker hat for the really frigid days to stay warm. But this will be worn in the tree stand for years to come when the temps aren't in the arctic range. ... show more

The quality of the material and design of the beanie are evident - however, the beanie is too big for a small to medium size head. I have seen comments where others say it is a tight fit for a larger head - someone obviously did not give it alot of thought when measuring for cutting or going by spec sheet, or simply just slapped it together as an afterthought. The description states that one size fits all or most, when in reality it should state that one size fits some. If your head is too small or too large for this beanie, you will either have it fitting down well below your eyes and possibly down to your lips like Fat Albert's buddy, or if you can get it around your head, it will be a tight fit and most likely cut off your circulation and give you a migraine at the very least. It is really ashame because it is a good looking beanie. The bright orange really stands out. If you roll up the cuff you ruin the esthetic completely because you will not be able to display the camo ribbing properly or see the deer motif (patch) sewn on the front. That is what gives this beanie its distinct characteristic. 100% acrylic, so don't fudge with it too much or you may snag it. Calhoun has been known to make quality outdoor products - hunting, fishing, camping. So I could not figure out what went wrong here - until I saw it! The label. Busch. Not as in Bushnell, a maker of fine optical products for hunting, bird watching, sniping, or reconnesince, but Busch - as in beer! Busch Light to be exact. There's the culprit! These beanies were not designed for hunters and outdoorsmen but rather for the wahoo party animals that get all wasted at an outdoor sporting event and need something to keep their noggins warm. Oh boy! Busch probably had Calhoun make these beanies for them, slap their label on at the last minute, thinking they could make some extra cash on some unsuspecting party goers, then dump the rest on someone/someplace where they can at least recoup their cost. Because no self-respecting hunter would be caught dead in this beanie that is made to no one's specifications whatsoever. Least that of a hunter. Calhoun, please do not compromise your reputation. And Busch, shame on you! ... show more

Awesome hunter orange knit cap with camo trim for a very nice finish. The cap has a leather Bush emblem which really distinguishes it from the regular knit caps. It has a very soft feel & fits well and the camo trim really adds to the quality of this cap. If you’re a Busch Light fan, this beanie is worth it. The orange knit gives great 360° visibility which is perfect for hunting season and the camo fleece trim is super soft and warm without feeling bulky. It fits my husband’s (average-sized) head comfortably, covers his ears, and doesn’t stretch out or slip up while he’s moving around in the woods or field. The material quality is thick and feels great for the price, especially since it’s a branded product. Hand wash, drip/hang dry according to symbols on the wash label and I appreciate that it does have a wash label. The label also says 100% acrylic which I assume is for the orange part and 100% polyester which I assume is for the design trim around the edges. Love the bright orange which is a great bold color in a very pleasing shade of orange (and might provide some protection when walking in the dark so cars can spot you). These appear to be one size fits all and happy to report it is not overly large like some other hats. The hat will keep you warm on normally cold days but probably not when it is below 20 degrees as it is not super thick. Very pleased with the design and comfort.
