If you are using the Caffenu cleaning capsules for the first time on your machine, we recommend that you use 2 capsules to make sure all the build-up is being removed. Our vertuo descaler contains 200ml, enough for 2 doses. Use one dose every 2-4 months to descale your machine.

Descaler was fine but pods not compatible with my machine. Eta: The pods are not compatible because my machine requires the barcode to function. I was able to create a work around. I took a used pod, removed the top foil, disposed of the grounds, and cleaned it. Then cut open one of the cleaning pods and poured the detergent into my used pod. Then ran the machine. It did clean but not as well as using the cleaning pod as intended.

Very convenient to use and you get all you need to descale and clean the Virtuo. Instructions are easy enough to follow although I used instructions downloaded from Nespresso. Only issue is it took a couple of tries for the cleaning since my Virtuo Next had a bit of trouble keeping the cleaning pod is place after you close the lid, lick the lever and start that step. Had to reset the machine by unplugging to get it to restart the step after you put the cleaning pod into the machine. But after a few tries, it worked and seems cleaned the heads ok. Good product.

We recently moved and I had forgotten to release the last pod. Months later and there was mold buildup and residue from previous use. I used 2 pods, then scrubbed the remainder with vinegar water then followed up with the descaling solution and now she’s working beautifully and is nice and clean.

I ordered the proper kit for my Nespresso and ran the descaler through it. However, the little pods don't fit. I even tried to put one inside of a regular coffee pod and remove the coffee and it still isn't forcing water to the cleaner pod. So this kit is a total fail. The only thing worthwhile is the descaler and had I known this I would have bought only the descaler and one would think that the light would be off even after doing that and it's not.

I bought this package especially for those cleaning pods for Nespresso Vertuo. Our Vertuo had mold in it, and we haven’t been able to use it for that reason. These pods gave a new chance for our Vertuo and coffee tastes even better! Both the pods and descaling are easy to use and they work well. We will be using these pods on regular basis from now on to assure the cleanliness of the machine in the parts where mere descaling doesn’t reach. Definitely good value for the money.
