I purchased this to use with my laminator to avoid sharp pointy corners. I liked the idea of 3 size options and small footprint of the item. The main issue is that it works randomly. Sometimes you get a nicely rounded corner and sometimes a jagged edge. The second problem is that it has no way to contain the little scraps that are punched off. I returned this because of the first problem. I would have put up with no cover if it actually trimmed things consistently. I invested in two other corner punches, one brand name and both overpriced. I had one that cracked when clipping laminated paper and the store repackaged it and placed it back on the racks. The other (pricey name brand) cut odd, off-centered and jagged corners and I wrote to the company. They replaced it with another bad punch. I took a risk ordering this one because of all the bad luck I've had with corner punches. I am VERY surprised and pleased with this one. It's a perfect cut (like the first one I bought that broke) and is sturdy (like the second one I bought that made a jagged cut). Not to mention, this is THREE punches in one! You lay it on its padded side, line your paper corner in and wiggle it to make sure you have it placed fully under the cutting metal. The lever is handy and can be pressed with one hand leaving your other hand free to hold the paper steady. There is no reservoir which is fine if you use it on a smooth surface. I have used Fiskars for corner rounding for years. I had this big project, I had to punch a total of 1,200+ cardstock corners, and this saved many hours. I love that you get 3 sizes in one - I used 2 out of the 3 and the little lever is great, it reduces fatigue. The price is good and worth every penny, I think I will order another one because, a back up is always a good idea. Finally, the first punch until the last one produced clean cuts. ... show more

I needed it to simply round the corners of 3mil lamination and it did so, for about 40 sheets. After each cut I had to take a toothpick and dig the little wedges out, or blow on it hoping to clean them out. It didn't last very long at all, and now it basically just creases and then you have to pull, leaving a nasty shaped corner. ... show more

    • It takes some Finesse to use
I think I have this thing figured out. When I received the item, yesterday, the first thing I did was hold it up in the air as I tried it out and even held it upside down. The cards were coming out incredibly inconsistent, even though I could 'feel' that my paper was perfectly lined up every time. Here's what I find works. It must be flat and face up on a table. Make sure your paper is COMPLETELY aligned, it's very easy to FEEL like it is but it is actually snagged and not all the way in. Also if your corners aren't truly square you have to feel it out. Use under good lighting! Also being upright allows the excess paper to fall freely through the bottom, I haven't had any clogging so far. Last night when used improperly I did 8 corners and they were all different. Just now I did 40 corners in a row and they were all FLAWLESS and beautiful! I was using 110 lb card stock. ... show more

    • Nice punch
Good quality punch. It is somewhat difficult to keep the paper loaded correctly so the corners punch evenly. I end up holding the punch upside down so I can see the paper is in right, that being said, it does make different size rounded corners and is a heavy punch that will last for a long time.

    • Not always a clean cut
Item works well most of the time. It does however have it quirks and will not cut perfect at times leaving corners semi cut and needed to be trimmed with scissors. Most problems seem to be with the 10mm rounder.
