I've got a massive head, like 24 inch circumference massive. I've never been able to find hats that fit my head aside from beanies and other knit caps. In my 78 years (well as an adult anyway), this is the first hat I have received that is too big. My concern is if I order a Large instead of Extra-Large, is it going to be too small? Love the look of the hat, just does not fit. Most of my caps have an adjustable enclosure and I always need to put the straps with 1/2 inch to spare. Great hat but if you have a smaller head, it's a little big. I stuck it in the wash and dryer in hopes of shrinking it a bit and it shrank it a lil too small. Nothing i can't stretch a bit tho. So if you have a smaller head, there's no problem shrinking it. I'd highly recommend if you like fitted hats cuz it's not easy finding good one's for some reason ... show more

For the price, it is a really high quality hat. The only thing I didn’t like is the pocket on the side, so I cut it off, which I was able to do without leaving a hole. It looks great now without the pocket.

A bit larger than a snug fit, although I knew my head circumference to be a little smaller than the actual measurement. This is an advantage, however since I typically wear a bandana over my neck tucked into the cap. The only drawback is the bill is shorter than expected.
