IT was a little large when i first tried it on, but remember, it's all cotton, and you'll be washing this several times. After a couple of washes, it fit like a large. The cap seems well made, however, there are no ventilation grommets on the head. What happens, when you put the hat on your head, it forms an air tight seal to the top of your head. So the hat looks sort of puffy on my head. I have to remember to push down on the top, and squeeze out the air, so I don't look like a marshmallow head. There are no types of polyester, or foam, around the headband. Its just an inner layer of canvas, that folds in from the outer layer. I'm fine with that. My other cotton caps, had fiber around the headband, or foam. After a couple of years of constant wear and washing, that headband foam or fiber, just fell apart. So this is a hat that will last you. In fact, the more you wear it and wash it, the better it will look. Finally, i liked the size of the sun visor. Not too long, not too short. I wear these at the gym, or bike riding, since I sweat heavy. Perfect hat for keeping the sun, as well as rivers of sweat, out of your eyes. I wear a L/XL in most fitted caps like adidas, puma, Hurley, etc. This Large is a little bigger than most. Still looks good but probably should have gone a size down.

Even though the pictures looked decent, I was skeptical about these hats, especially in light of their low price. I knew from the KB Ethos website, which shows a 360 degree view, that this was more of a standard issue, military uniform BDU hat. Most stylized cadet/military caps are designed with a symmetrical middle panel wrapping around from the forehead, to the back of the head. The middle panel of this hat is the same width from the forehead to the sides, but slopes downward to the back of the neck. This difference means that the bill can be shiflted higher on the forehead without the sides hitting or pushing out on the ears. This hat is made of 100% pure cotton and is a bit thinner than some hats on the market, making it a great fit for the summer. The brim also extends out longer than some cadet/military caps and is more like that of a traditional ball cap. The hat is fitted, but seems to have a bit more stretch to it than other non flex-fit caps, probably due to the thinner material. I have a medium sized head and really should have ordered a medium and not a large, but I quickly remedied the oversized st bye soaking the Hat is hot water and putting it in the dryer for short time. If you find yourself needing to do the same I would recommend drying it hungover him or something that will hold its shape. Again this is 100 percent cotton and prone to wrinkling, due to the thinner material. All in all I am pretty impressed with this hat for the price, having bought hats from Kangol, Goorin Bros and Timberland, for 4 times the amount. My only real criticism of this hat so far, is on the brim. It seems that either the visor piece inside the brim is a bit too small to fill the space, or that the brim section is a bit too loosely sewn around the brim insert. I am hoping that I may be able to tighten the brim through further shrinking the hat. This may never be my go-to hat, but definitely a good grab on the go. Love the color choices too. I originally bought a large as my head size is 7 3/8 but it was way too big. I returned it and got a medium which is perfect. The hat has a good shape but a little stiff. There is no content label but i think it must be mostly or all polyester.

Great hat but if you have a smaller head, it's a little big. I stuck it in the wash and dryer in hopes of shrinking it a bit and it shrank it a lil too small. Nothing i can't stretch a bit tho. So if you have a smaller head, there's no problem shrinking it. I'd highly recommend if you like fitted hats cuz it's not easy finding good one's for some reason ... show more

I got a medium but it didn't fit... It seems I have a small head. I would've really like a bit of stretchy material as it's not adjustable but it looks great. The rim is a little too large and even with the small keeps coming too far down. Maybe I just need to get used to it and then I'll update the review. ... show more
