The first thing I noticed when I opened it was how well made it is. It is exactly like the pictures. The fabric is tough, sand proof, and water resistant. It holds up to sun, salt, and outdoor use. The mesh pockets are wide and deep, and the whole thing just feels sturdy. I love it! What works well is the versatility. The bottom cooler is detachable, which makes it even more versatile. You can use the whole thing as one big beach bag, or separate them if you need just the tote or just the cooler. The cooler compartment has high quality insulation and keeps drinks and snacks chilled for hours. There are eight pockets total. I can fit towels, sunscreen, book, phone, all the beach essentials. Everything has a place. The bag fits over your arm easily and it is comfortable to carry. And no sand! The sand proof fabric means you are not bringing half the beach home with you. One thing to be aware of is that the cooler compartment is a good size so the bag can get heavy when fully loaded. But that is true of any beach bag. I am super excited to use this for camping and beach trips. The cooler is removeable and has its own handle. The bag and cooler are east to separate and put back together. The bag is large and has several pockets. The colors are cute and the bag folds up well so that you can fit it in luggage if needed. The arm holes arent too long so it fits nicely and not awkwardly. I recently used this mesh beach bag for a weekend trip to the coast, and it solved the age-old problem of carrying a separate cooler and gear bag. The dual-compartment design is quite clever. The bottom insulated section kept several drinks and a couple of sandwiches chilled for about four hours in direct sunlight, which is impressive for a soft-sided cooler. The upper mesh portion is incredibly spacious; I managed to fit two oversized beach towels, a bottle of sunscreen, and a change of clothes without it feeling overstuffed. One feature I particularly appreciated was the sandproof nature of the mesh. After a long day on the shore, a quick shake removed nearly all the debris before I put it back in my car. The eight external pockets are also a lifesaver for organizing smaller items like sunglasses and keys that usually get lost at the bottom of a large tote. However, I did notice that if the cooler section is fully loaded with heavy ice packs, the bag becomes a bit bottom-heavy, causing the mesh top to sag slightly if not also filled. The straps are reinforced and comfortable on the shoulder, though I wish the padding was just a bit thicker for long walks from the parking lot to the water.
