So I bought these not for the intended use but to snip the ends off to wire them to lighting fixtures. Much cheaper than buying stand-alone cords. They are really EXCELLENT for that use. Super high-quality outer casing, and inner wires and insulation. For a fraction of the cost of a simple AC plug with stripped wires at the other end. If you need a new cord on something, and are handy, grab these.

I play live music up to 4 times per week, and my PA is set up in various spaces, indoor and out. Having long IEC cables allows you to set up your gear in more creative and efficient ways, saving the need to run extra extension power cables. The gauge of the wire is the thinnest i'd possibly use, but I'm not running huge powered speakers or a giant system, so for my purposes it's perfectly fine. As to the quality of the IEC cables, they're perfectly fine, zero issues.

Its a little weird, it feels tight but for some reason its not secure. Both monitors will shut off if bumped or wiggled. Two different brands of monitor also. I took a small strip of paper and folded in two then put a strip of tape over it, now it seems to be working much better.

I purchased a brand new Anker power strip with USB charging ports to control monitor and computer power. It’s very important to me to be able to power off all the electronics in the event of a thunderstorm or power problems. These cables are shorter than the normal cable and have a specified wire gauge. That makes them valuable for this use. The cables have been great. I’ve noticed no problems with the construction and the wire gauge (16AWG) is fine for monitors power draw. Very satisfied with the purchase and would buy them again.
