If it came with a deluxe option lined with aromatic cedar I would have paid for that too. I've got some cedar; I'll trying doing that myself. As far as I can tell at this point it's heirloom quality. I have always had an affinity for storage. I don’t know why, but through my life I’ve always had a trunk in tow, holding most if not all of my most important possessions and memories. Throughout my life I have never had a trunk last longer than a year. Most are made with subpar materials and workmanship. This is an amazing trunk! Purchase this locker for my daughter who is using it now at the University she is attending, it is well worth the cost. It is huge and very solidly built. I warn you that its heavy when full, however we had a platform to move ot into her dorm room. It will hold the weight of a person 350 pounds when sitting on it I think it can support a person's standing weight of at least 280 pounds (that's my weight and i am 5'10". It also comes in different colors. I am definitely purchase this for my 2nd daughter when she attends college next year 2020. They shipped it very quickly and had it within 2 days (Amazon prime mbr). My 12 year old nonverbal autistic son received this for Christmas and has already broke the lid off the box..I’m very sad about this considering the cost and loss..I know its not the company’s fault, especially considering how well built this trunk was constructed, and is just an outcome of having a wrecking ball/ furniture destroyer/ son, but sad to say It didn’t last but for only a few days past Christmas…I would recommend this trunk to anyone who won’t open it and stand on the box and lid at the same time… ... show more

I was soo happy my purple trunk arrived today!! Very excited but was then disappointed when i unpackaged my trunk to find Three dents already from a very well cushioned box that had no damage from delivery. The four corners plates are loose and can come off. Came with one hinge on right side. Everything else perfect. My plans are to put a seat cushion on top and store my survival gear in it for now. But am still excited i got a sturdy and big footlocker in my fave color. The handle are great n comfortable. As far as shipping back. Not going thru all that for a few dents. But one my son gets his Lime Green one...i hope it its in tip top shape! . ... show more
