I bought this brand after comparing prices and reviews. The wire squares are the right size and building what I needed was okay. It just required a little force to squeeze the the squares into the connectors. I didn't need the provided hammer and honestly, I don't think it would have done much to help. Everything fit together well and is relatively sturdy (more than I had expected based on reviews). I figured I'd have to use zip ties to hold them together but the connectors worked well enough so I actually don't need to which is nice. They are lightweight so I can move them around during feeding time. I'm sure they probably work fine for organization or vendor booths too but I actually needed them to stop my cats from sharing food. My cats are all on separate diets and one has a special prescription food. They all have their own Sure feed microchip cat feeders but they will hold their dishes open for the others and share their food so that the others will share with them. I got the ideal for trying this build from another cat owner. So far this build is preventing them from sharing; so hopefully, I found my solution. :) ... show more

The rack was pretty easy to put together. I did not even use the wood mallet that comes with it. The pieces snap together pretty easily. It took me about 20 minutes by myself to put the organizer together. I gave the organizer a four because it is fairly flimsy but does the job I wanted it to.

You can use these 12"x12" grates to craft any sized space. I built our cage up off the ground for easier access. I will add lights to it later. The gates are quality and you buy as many as you want to make any size cage. You can put three of them together using zip-ties to use for the top. The black grates in the photos are from another cage. It comes with hardware to affix pieces, but you might need more. You can order them separately. I used white zip-ties to secure it better in spots. You can get very creative with these. I don't know why all the negative reviews on bent and rusted grates. I didn't see any problems! I'm sure there are defects on rare occasion. Anyway, these let you explore and create some very cool cages, just have to be patient and plan it out. The grates come in various colors too. I was looking for something to store my fabrics in so that they would be better organized rather than storing them in totes. I ran across this storage rack and thought I would give it a try. It was easy to put together and I found it to be quite sturdy. The 12 inch squares are just the right size so that I do not have to put a lot of folds into the fabric. The storage rack is also very functional and I can easily find the fabric that I need. This storage rack fits my needs perfectly even though it is lightweight.
