I was stunned by how comfortable these boots are! The uppers are soft and do not hurt my bunions or pinky toes. The heel is about 2.5 inches which is a tiny bit higher than would be ideal for me but not an issue. They are very padded and even have a padded arch support. They are washable! The color called green does not look at all green to me -- it is a pretty taupe. I have also ordered them in black. They were comfortable as soon as I put them on -- even without socks. When I tried them on again later with socks, they were even better. I always struggle to find closed toes shoes that are comfortable and wear sandals almost all year round. But, even in sunny, warm Florida, closed toe shoes are needed occasionally. I think these will be perfect for me. I have other BZEES sandals, which I love. I have tried a couple of other BZEES closed toe shoes but they did not work for me (although another one is on the way so fingers crossed), but these are GREAT. I know I will wear them often in the winter. I took my normal size in these boots which fit perfectly, even with socks. I did not need to size up to accommodate the closed toe or the socks. These boots fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I wear an 8 1/2 I purchased an 8 1/2 and they fit great. I was going to size down after reading some of the reviews but I know that I will wear socks with these, so I just ordered my normal size and they are great, I purchased them to wear when I go to raiders games and hockey games because they are so comfortable to walk in and sometimes if the VIP parking is full I have to park a little ways away and who wants to walk in expensive shoes, so these are just a great alternative, I will wear them with leggings..they look very stylish with a lug type heel & sole. I am very satisfied with this brand of shoes and I highly recommend them . ... show more

These boots felt great at home...but, out on the street not so much. I have about 10 pairs of BZEES sandals and have had their boots in the past. I assumed these would be as comfortable. But about an hour in I wished I were home. Its the ball of the foot part that's not cushy enough.

    • Arch not as high or padded as prior BZees boots

These boots are beautiful and are true to size, but the arch isn't as high or padded as other BZee shoes/boots I own. I have a very high arch and older BZees just feel better. Maybe other customers complained that the arches were too high or BZees wanted to save some money on manufacturing. But the rubber soles of the BZee boots I have worn almost every day during the fall and winter for past three years or so have worn down considerably and they're so smooth I'm afraid I will slip on ice or snow wearing them, so I had to replace them. ... show more
