I have been tanning all my life in tanning beds and in the sun. I tan easily and pretty dark but it takes a while to get the results I like to have, but with Shine Brown I tan alot quicker, alot darker and the tan last alot longer. I don't use a sun block except on my face to try and prevent aging affects. Some say its greasy which it is if you over apply it is. It takes a small amount and you don't feel or look greasy. I love that it stays on even when used in a pool, lake, ocean or when wearing it outside while doing yard work or chores. It doesn't sweat off. I also love that it makes my skin smooth even after showering. I use it sometimes as a moisturizer which I feel also contributes to the tan lasting alot longer. I use the subscribe and only need to repurchase it about every 4 sometimes 5 months and I'm out in the sun as much as possible when the weather is good and use tanning beds during the winter. I get compliments on my tan all the time. I've told friends and family members about it and they love it to. Some are light skinned and use a sunscreen with it and they tan much faster and darker than they use to. For the price you can't beat it. I've used several other tanning lotions which I've paid up to $85 for and none of them had the results I get with this. It doesn't have an orange affect on skin like others do just a deep dark tan. Love it! Smell is mild but good. I have a hard time tanning my legs and this has helped. A little seems to go a long way. I haven’t had any skin irritation. Fast shipping and good price for something that actually works. Will definitely buy again

    • It works great and feels great
I absolutely love this product! First time user here and I got it just in time for the 4th of July weekend fun in the sun. 11 hours in the sun to be exact on the first day. Normally I would have been burnt after that! But nope I wasn't burnt. I was red yes but the next day when you usually are burnt and hurting, I wasn't. I think it moisturized my skin so well that it prevented me from burning honestly. Days 2 and 3 included an additional 5-8 hours in the sun and same results. Still not burnt!!! And it lasts a good while even in and out of water. It doesn't take a lot at all. It is very greasy and will create grease spots on clothing so just be mindful when picking out your wardrobe for the day. There is 1 thing I dont like about it though. It does come in a more solid form which is easy to scoop out and rub on. The one thing I dont like is if you take the container with you and its hot and sunny outside, just be prepared for the next time you open it that it could very well be completely melted. But once back to normal temp or put in the fridge, it goes right back to its solid-ish form. So in conclusion, I love it and currently buying some more to put in my husband's pool bag. We each have a pool bag for our kids so if they go then he has stuff and if its just me with the kids and we go, we have separate bags we keep in our vehicles. ... show more

    • Doesn’t work, feels like crisco.
This does not give a deep tan. I’ve used this 8 times and laid out for at least 20 minutes each time. It barely made a difference. It almost seemed like it was sunscreen. 2 lays with my Hawaiian tropic and I’m golden. The texture of this stuff is like crisco. It does not soak into your skin at all and sits on top of it. It feels terrible. It’s very hard to wash off as well. I gave it 1 star because the smell isn’t bad but for the price, it’s definitely not worth it. ... show more
