I finally realized it matters where you place your feet. Make sure your toes hit the edge of the top nodes and not overhang them. At first these were painful but then I placed my feet correctly on them and it feels so much better, like a good pressure feeling. I only gave 4 stars because it’s not making my foot pain go away but I actually don’t think they’re supposed to. They’re great for end of day relief.

I don't see what's all the fuss is about. I have can wear these shoes for a long time. It doesn't really hurt my feet too much. Maybe I have thick feet or something. Otherwise very these shoes are amazing my feet feel really good. Feels like I am walking on clouds afterwards.

1. Its little bit painful if you use first time. Take your time. We wear 10min first and rest. Do it till getting used to. 2. Good for circulation for seniors. Very satisfied. 3. Im getting another pair for outdoor and indoor use. Good product so far.

I use it after work, just to get the knotts out. I wouldn't wear these like regular sandles. It does get out the kinks in my feet. It wasn't painful for me to wear.

I wanted a reflexology sandal to improve blood circulation to my feet. I chose THIS brand because I have a Latex allergy/sensitivity - not epi-pen "bee sting" serious but serious enough that it's on my medical chart. Usually contact with latex/rubber "just" causes me to itch like crazy until I swiftly remove the cause, wash off, and, just to make sure, get myself hydrated. But just regular bandaids sort of meld into my skin! :( For all the other reflexology sandals I came up with (Kenkoh, Revs, & others), they all have RUBBER NUBS - the part that presses into your foot. It's the NUBS I was concerned about. Yes, ideally there wouldn't be any rubber, but I couldn't find any like that. With these by Byriver, I didn't care what the sandal base was made of, so long as the nubs were plastic--- though I DID then frown when I *smelled* rubber taking the sandals out of the box, figuring I'd need to return them, But left out in the living room overnight, that disappeared. Phew! Just to be sure, I did put on a pair of old-fashioned, thin Buster Brown socks to first try them. Stepping on those hard nubs felt wonderful on the soles of my feet! And, no, my feet aren't callused, though I've been known to walk around barefoot more often than not, indoors and out. :) I kept the sandals on for 5 minutes stepping in place to feel the pressure and then kept them on while sitting for at least another half hour - with ZERO REACTION. Maybe some time I'll try them without socks at all, although the socks are so thin I'm quite sure pressure-wise it would make barely a difference, if at all.
