Great beginner set of hobby tools for model building. The sprew cutters are a much safer way of removing pieces from the sprew than a knife. Nice value for the set. Serious modelers will want an upgrade and more tools in short order however.

These tools from the Chinese manufacturer BXQINLENX are excellent value for the money. I did order this kit with a set of scale models, and most of the model kits were custom-removed and fitted with these tools. The nipper was sharp and solidly constructed. The tweezers were easy to hold in the hand and made adequately. The X-Acto like knife was sharp and came with replacement blades. This is a great kit for beginners. I was impressed with everything about this kit, it has a thick plastic case making it durable. However, overtime the plastic hinges will break with the constant opening and closing. The snips have a thick rubber-ish coating on the handles, making it easy to handle. My only complaint would be I wish they included another polishing bar. Other then that I would buy this kit again and I recommend it to other hobbyists. ... show more
