    • Good bottle with bad smell that sticks around
I bought this because I am a cook. With summer coming and temps reaching 120f in the kitchen, I am trying to get away from using plastic water bottles. Not just for the environment but also the BPAs used in water bottles. There are a few things I have issues with. First off whatever design you end up ordering. It will come with a neoprene sleeve over it. While good in theory, this sleeve is very difficult to get off. Once you do it will never go back on. The bottle really smelled like harsh chemicals when I got it. It took WEEKS of washing almost every day and letting it dry to get rid of this smell. It was so strong it made drinking water out of it impossible. What I do like about this is, it came with 3 caps. It came with 2 straws and a little set of cleaning tools. I have already recorded over 100f degree temps in the kitchen so far and this has kept ice in it with cold liquids for a full 8-9 hour shift. So that is impressive. The smell was really a turn off for me. I considered returning it a few times. If you have the patience of washing, re-washing and don't need this bottle the day it arrives then it is a good choice. I drink a lot of water throughout the day. I was using a insulated jug from a convenience store. It was just too bulky and spilled when knocked over, so I was in the market for something more sleek and convenient. This fit the bill. It comes with 3 different lids. I prefer the one with the sip/straw. While the straws provided are a little short to reach the bottom of the jug, I simply found a straw I already had that fit the tube and cut it to length. Very easy solution. I filled it with ice and cold water. Only filled it about 1/3 of ice and that lasted way over 24 hours. I usually fill it twice a day and don't need to add more ice. It comes with a holder that can be removed. If you do remove, all the lids are made with handles, so it is still easy to tote along anywhere you go. If you decide to use the case, it also come with a handle and body strap. I purchased the 64oz and so far very happy with my purchase. It doesn't leak when turned over. (As long as your lid is in properly) I would definitely recommend this product! ... show more

I was disappointed to know that the sleeve for the bottle could not be removed. The picture showed that the sleeve had a zipper for removal. However on receipt bottle was already in sleeve and Cannot be removed for washing separately.

I highly recommended this high quality water bottle. The powder coat keeps it from slipping and does not allow the bottle to sweat. All lids have nice rubber type rings on them to help your grip and when opening/closing. The straw lid only leaked a few drops while full and being shaken upside down. The sleeve/strap are very nice and strong. It does take a bit of wiggling to get it in and off. When full it is not too heavy, it’s really the perfect size. I have not tried hot liquid yet, though I am sure it will be wonderful as ice remained into the next day! ... show more

This water container is a game changer for me. Most people would find it too big for daily use, but after several years of fighting recurring kidney stones, I knew I had to do something. I finish one of these every day and I’m set! This keeps water COLD. When I first got it, I filled it with ice cubes and water to see how long they’d last… 4 days. Four days of ice in this thing! And another three of really cold water! It comes with everything you need- extra straw, straw cleaner, comfortable carrying strap, and of course- the insulation sleeve. The sleeve comes already on the container and I suggest not taking by it off- I’m not sure you’d be able to get it back by on again. I bought the 40oz bottle a few weeks ago and love it! It now goes everywhere with me and I drink A LOT more water at home, work and everywhere in between having this. Took it to the lake on an 85° day, and still had ice in the bottle 2 days later! I have bit had any issues with it leaking or sweating. Comes with multiple lids, but I've only used the flip top with the straws so far. I think the sleeve and strap are very handy (and I had no difficulty removing the sleeve as others have mentioned) and will most likely use them at another time, but I love the texture and colors of the bottle! I've historically had Nalgenes and love them for their ruggedness, but they sweat and aren't insulated. I'm converted to these! ... show more

Love this thermos bottle! Bought it to be my daily water bottle (saved on all the plastic bottles I used to recycle) plus it keeps my water really ice cold….literally ALL DAY LONG, which is very important to me! Love the 3 separate tops it comes with as well as an extra tube for the inside and a small brush to clean the tube. Great value for the quality, the way it keeps my water cold and for all of the additional components that come with it. I may just buy another one to have for a back up. It actually hold the temperature well. Ive added some ice to the water warly mornin and it stays cold all day. Javent tested the 24 hours yet because water dors not last longer than 8 hours since i drink about Two of these containers a day. Only bad thing and d pends on how you look at it, is that its heavy when full and heavy when empty. i dont mind it because it doubles as a defensive swingable thermos when not drinking from it or when its empty. My wife thinks its to bulky to carry on hikes. like i said, depends how you look at it, the heavy part can be a con or pro. ... show more
