I bought this for my RoG Ally X, and at first I had my reservations, but when I gave a second try, I don’t remember why I didn’t like it to begin with! It fits my Ally X and charger and cord very nicely. Not many cases out there for the Ally X, so I’d definitely give this one a try

This is a great travel case for the Asus Ally. There is a little bit of give when putting pressure on the top but should hold up fine for average carrying around all day, however; if you know it's going to be getting thrown around maybe opt for a solid hard case. I also feel like the device is held firmly in place, without putting pressure on the bumpers or triggers, so no worrying about it bouncing around in there, I have mine in a protective case by skull and co as well and it still fits nicely. This case also has plenty of room for a lot of other little extras you may want to bring with you. The only thing that could potentially be an issue is if you have a lot of stuff in the zippered compartment of the lid it could potentially put pressure on the left and right sticks, it would need to be pretty thick to reach them as there is a fair amount of room there. The stand option works great. The pictures show two different cases one with a white or silver zipper and one with a black zipper, I received one with a black zipper.

After searching for weeks for a good case for the ROG Ally, I finally grabbed this one and another. Honestly, I thought I was going to send this one back in favor of the other, which has cut outs for the thumb sticks. I thought the mesh pocket on this one might interfere with the sticks. I was so wrong. While this case has the exact same footprint as the one with molded top and bottom, it fits much more in the same space without compromising on the functionality. The other case doesn't fit anything but the stock charger. This case fits the cardboard stand, extra thumb stick pads, the charger, a small cable, and a few other nicknacks. Hands down, this is the best case without going huge. It fits nicely in my backpack, feels great, and is well made. If you're looking for those things, this is the case for you.

I liked how it was compact enough for travel. Provided solid protection. Sturdy and felt good on quality. I would have kept this BUT… Here are my nitpicks: I have a silicone skin on my ASUS which make the clearances too tight. So removing it was hard to get my finger in to pry it out. This is a personal preference but I wish it was a little bigger on storage so I could fit more than just the charger in the under-storage. Final nitpick is that this thing was VERY dusty with plastic “lint” on the insides. Not a deal break. Just a nuisance. I’d recommend it if you didn’t have a skin protector. But unfortunately I wanted the wiggle room and ended up getting a slightly bigger case.

This case is fantastic. The case itself is very sturdy and the Ally feels very secure inside. I actually carry the plug separately in my purse or other bag and put my dock in the bottom area. I put a protective case and thumb stick caps on the handheld and all of that still fits just fine inside the case.

The media could not be loaded. The ROG Ally fits to the T. It's kind of difficult to remove once you place it but thats the least of any ones concerns. The quality is very good. It has a cool little compartment for the charger underneath and a strap to help you lift it out of the case with ease. 5 out of 5 would recommend.
