Description

Max accuracy and reliability to master every tactical scenario. We took the bedrock precepts behind every riflescope we build – optical precision, rugged reliability and uncompromising performance – and pushed them even farther. The Bushnell Optics 1-4x 24mm Drop reticle riflescope features target turrets (0.1 mil click value) for pinpoint-precise adjustments, plus caliber-specific reticle to deliver every round with peerless accuracy. The scope features fully multi-coated optics for incredible brightness and the fast focus eyepiece delivering maximum accuracy and reliability. Zeroes at 100 yards, with aiming points out to 500 yards. Nitrogen purged to remove any vestige of internal moisture, and O-ring sealed to prevent the entry of dust or moisture. Made of high-durability aluminum alloy, anodize-finished and sealed to protect the inside from elements. Riflescope is rustproof, virtually scratchproof and a beautiful complement to even the most expensive firearm. Please note that the scope’s erector cap assembly (located on the bottom of the scope windage and elevation control housing) may limit the possibility to use extra-low or low scope rings. Most commonly, medium height rings provide the clearance necessary to eliminate contact with the cap and the scope base or receiver on most firearms. Please check the clearance necessary on your individual firearm prior to selecting scope rings.

  • Really fine product
I thought I was getting cheap, but was happily surprised. Palmetto State Armory was offering these with their stock barrels which was a great endorsement. Very bright and clear. I zeroed in 100y at 25 yards, (meaning the rounds leaving the gun at 2.62" below sight, and hitting 25 yards at 1.91" below sight so bullet and sight converge at 100 yards, rise 1" over sight and fall to zero again at 200 - 240 yards) With my Rock River Arms stainless .223 Wylde bull barrel I set one round atop the other like splitting arrows. From 1 - 4X perfect parallax. illumination not needed, nitrogen filled. Ten rounds, one hole (ok I used a benchrest to mount my gun, but still). Mounts not included, bought my own, Locked it on, out of the box, 20 clicks up and 6 right to zero. Took it home and removed the elevation and windage marking caps with the allen wrench supplied and loosened the three allen bolts holding each adjustment knob, and set them to Zero/Zero, now zero is zero, and there they sat until I repeated the feat with no adjustments. I am really happy with this the variable magnification is really nice, the turrets are clearly marked in 10ths and the clicks are sharp, crisp and stable. The adjustment knobs are big and easy to see just like the expensive scopes. Like a very high-end scope for a low low price. Aim points: zero at 100, points at 200 - 500 in 100 increments using 55 - 62gn 5.56. Now I am an official sniper and those furry vermin are in for a world of hurt :) ... show more

  • 7 years old, I now have 2 of them
Like part is easy - its a Low Power Optic, it has good clarity and is designed for 0-300 (let's be honest, 5.56/.223 is for viable intents and purposes also a 0-300 round (unless you are an academic without field experience with the round in combat situations) I love the round and have dozens of optics, Lupold, Primary Arms, Vortex and have used a steiner or two- this one holds up and works well for the purposes it was designed. It is NOT a distance/sniping tool, it is a tool that allows solid accurate precise hits at reasonable combat distances. I've used it to take jacks, yotes, and javies- it's gotten boring how easy it is to make hits with 55g otm at distance for hunting. Anyhow, for the money and honestly, even if it were more, it's a great option! It will work. It will continue to work and it holds zero Edit, have owned for 10 years now. One on wife's go to, she loves it. And one on one of mine. They work. ... show more

  • Clean & clear
This has got to be the clearest glass for the money. I have scoped and glassed with most of the major brands in the last 20 years and Bushnell has got the CRYSTAL CLEAR down pat. You really have to know the difference and spend more than three times the money to get clearer. I can no longer justify the L's, V's, N's and Z's ( I wont name the brands but if you know scopes you know the ones I'm hinting at) for the money. All the bells and whistles on scopes today mean nothing if the glass isn't perfectly clear to start with. Now this particular scope I was not happy with the reticle but after talking to Bushnell's customer service I was able to swap for one that was better suited for my type of shooting. That was over two years ago and I now have two more scopes on other long guns. The scope is well worth the money if not more, Bushnell's service is customer first and their warranty is lifetime. (have not had to test that yet.) ... show more

  • Best bang for the buck!
I was really surprised! First thing first, I gave this a 5 star rating because for the same price you will NOT find a better scope! The build quality is solid, the lens are clear, and after 200 + rounds it stayed true. For the price that's all you could ask for and it does that and more. I mounted mine on a Ruger AR-556 with a Burris AR PEPR 30mm mount. Zeroed in a matter of minutes at 100 yards, then was shooting 200 yards, then 300 yards, and 500 yards with no issues. And props to Bushnell for the reticle in this scope! It worked like charmed and made shooting 500 yards a breeze! It wasn't precision shots and couldn't be with this low of magnification but I was pinging metal silhouettes at 500 yards everytime. If you want a good scope for an excellent price this is the one to buy. ... show more

  • Best bang for you buck(pun intended)
Does its job as long as you do yours. Zeros at 100 yards and bdc is spot on. I can consistently hit 4/10 shots on a standard ipsc target at 600 yards on x4. Granted thats not what this scope is for but its capable. At 400 yards 8/10 shots same size target and bdc is spot on. 1x isn't a true 1x but its not off by much. Target acquisition is super fast, under a second to present , acquire target, and put a round on target 10/10 at 100 yards at 1x. At 4x magnification there's a little distortion around the edges but it doesn't interfere with accuracy at all. I can can easily track the round out to 600 yards and see the hit. Full disclosure, I have a lantac dragon muzzle comp. With a standard A2 flash hider, tracking the bullet was much more difficult at 600, due to higher recoil and muzzle rise. I put this scope through its paces and its held up superbly. Yes you can drop 1k+ and get something far superior, but at this price point, nothing compares. ... show more

  • Thick duplex reticle
On x4 the reticle is very thick and you're not going to see small targets well at 100 yards. But it is a quality budget scope I just was hoping for too much at the lower price point.
