I purchased the 2.5-10x44 version of this scope for my 10/22 after watching a few reviews on YouTube and I am absolutely impressed with the quality, durability, and price of this scope. I had a bushnell scope a few years ago that was very lacking in every way I.E. wouldn’t hold zero, collected very little light, and the turrets moved the crosshairs with almost zero consistency. I swore I would never buy another bushnell scope again, but against my judgment I did and I am so glad I went with it. Tracking is from what I’ve seen perfect, held zero with no problems, let’s in plenty of light, and has lots of higher end scope features like target style locking turrets, 30mm scope tube, and side paralex adjustment in a scope that only costs around 270 dollars! In comparison to my vortex diamondback tactical 4-16x44 it’s close but for the price and featuresI almost have to recommend this scope over the vortex (which is hard for me to say as a vortex fanboy) and very well may be switching over to bushnell if they can keep this quality and price point consistent. ... show more

I am a 22lr plinker. This scope works great for that. I was able to dial my 1022 so my children could hit a gong consistently at 100 yards. My first scope had the reticle rotate after 50 weeks. I sent it back under warrantee and they quickly send me a new one. The optics are fine. However, under low light conditions the reticle is very difficult to see. If I had to do it over again, I’d get an illuminated reticle. Because I’m old, the second focal plane reticle is just fine. ... show more

I have a LOT of scopes (way too many, I guess). I have some very poor, older Chinese scopes. Also have some Leupold LRTs and a Sightron SIII. Due to the length of my 2 private ranges, I have no need for very high power optics. I do have some 30X and 40X scopes, but never use them over 20X. I also prefer 3-15 and 6-24..... I prefer SFP. The glass on this Engage is excellent. Bright and crisp. The turrets have excellent tactile feel. MUCH better than the TWO, new SWFA 10X42mm SF models I bought recently. The SWFA glass is great, but the turrets are worse than a NcStar. Go figure. The only 'criticism' I have, is the cross hairs are very fine. I sighted in the scope this am, but that range was completely in the shade. Would like to have some 'dots' in the reticle. Or IR in this situation. It would be difficult to hunt with this scope in low light. But, I only shoot paper now days. ha ha Most of my recent scope purchases have been in the $500 range. This scope is a bargain at just over $400. Lastly, virtually all scopes in this price range are Chinese. Once you get over $500, you may get some from the Philippines. Upon purchasing the Bushnell Engage (Multi-X reticle) 3x9x40 (illuminated) reticle, I found the specifications to be very good: Lightweight, aluminum body, clear edge to edge clarity, illuminated center dot is excellent (Bright), Multi-X crosshair provides target acquisition easily as it tapers toward center. Expansive F.O.V., and eye-relief is more than adequate. The windage and elevation adjustments are good to 500 yards; maybe a bit more. Zoom ring is snug, yet moves smoothly. If one is hunting, this is all any hunter needs. I cannot see any negatives with this Bushnell scope. Not yet field tested, but we believe the components are assuredly top line. The only drawback, when I received the Bushnell scope on arrival, the ocular end scope cover was broken. This did not deter me from having a replacement sent by Amazon. ... show more

Great scope might be too pricey for some but for the money you get a great scope. Crosshairs may be thin for some and hard to see they work just great for me and are clear and visible. The glass is also super clean and clear. Parallax adjustment is seems shallower than stated which is great makes for a good companion to a good 22 rifle or airgun. Also seems to be rather lightweight for the quality expected it to be heavier. Would definitely buy this item again or recommend to friends. ... show more
