I am making a quilt that uses 10" and 5" squares. I needed a fabric that would go good with my primary fabric and bought the sage. This fabric feels like typical cotton quilting fabric. It isn't really a soft fabric, it also isn't extremely thin or see through. By getting precut squares, I was hoping that I could reduce the amount of cutting and measuring I would have to do. Several reviews had stated that the fabric edges unravel but also mentioned that the edges are pinked, so I thought these would be ok. But the fabric I received does not have pinked edges and is already unraveling (I only took the fabric out of the bag to feel it and measure it). The squares are definitely not 10" squares. This is frustrating because I that means I still have to cut and measure squares because these are not be the same size as the squares of my primary fabric. I would have been happy with the color of this fabric if the squares were the size they were supposed to be. I am also worried about the durability of the edges as I work with the fabric.

I gave this a one star in order to say I was very disappointed in the squares. The are not cut at 10in at all. Some of the squares are lopsided. I tried to use starch on them to make them more stable but no luck with its, material is cheap and I am not going to be able to use it in quilts as I wanted. It would ruin the quilt, and the material is so thin you can almost read a newspaper with it. I will not be ordering anything else from this company
