What can I say? Its Burt's Bees and they make a great product. Its a great price. It lasts really well. Its still on my lips in the morning when I apply before bed. My lips are moist and this stuff DOESNT cause them to chap like their other formulas that dont have beeswax. If I could change anything, it would be that they sell this beeswax lip balm in scents other than icky, medicinal peppermint because I dont like the scent but the product works so I keep buying it, however people have serious salicylate allergies and the peppermint is loaded with it, so I cant wear it around others or I risk making them gravely sick. My package came brand new, in a mint condition box. Shipping was extremely fast. When this is gone, I will buy more, because I havent found another lip balm that works this well, but I SURE wish it would be beeswax and some fruit flavor instead of boring old sharp and mediciney peppermint. ... show more

this used to be my favorite lip balm over a decade ago, i don’t think it’s changed but my tastes and favorite lip balm have. it feels dry going on and never really feels like it goes into my skin and moisturizes at all before wearing off quickly. i used to warm it up in my pocket/hands first to help it feel less dry but that doesn’t work much. the mint is super strong, and irritates my skin. despite all this it’s still my favorite drugstore lip balm by far! i got this to use outside of the house since my favorite lip balm is one you have to apply with your finger so it’s germy, and i don’t leave my house often so i don’t have to use this often so it’s no biggie. works in a pinch. ... show more

Boy what a mistake. Burned my lips like crazy. Guess the one I like is with the silver cap and is called Ultra Moisturizing. That's my bad for not fully reading the details but in my defense, it's listed 3 bullets down. Who reads that far? It's. Lip. Balm.

Burt's Bees Original formula lip balm is the best lip balm I have used so far. Every other balm leaves my lips dry and chapped within 20-30 minutes, causing me to have to reapply several times per day. The original formula of Burt's Bees lip balm has a lasting coating that seems to keep my lips moisturized for hours. The other flavors tend to be too soft, and smush on my lips when I apply it firmly, but the original beeswax retains its rigidity, and is harder to melt in your pocket. The peppermint added to the balm makes it sooth your lips in the harsh winter, and provides a cooling effect during the summer months. My fiancé only liked mint chapstick. He usually uses one specific brand but he ran out. I offered him Burts Bees mint which he was against at first, but after he started using it he never went back to his old brand. He prefers this chapstick now. It’s not too heavy, unless you want it to be then you can just keep applying it like me. I use it too and I’m very acne prone. I've been a fan of Burt's Bees lip balm the first time I smeared that tingly peppermint flavor on my forever chapped and dry lips. Will continue to use and buy Burt's Bees as long as he keeps offering the peppermint. Oh and the price was great, too!

Have been using Burt's Bees for years now and it's still as good as ever. It's moisturizing for sure and the texture is just right. What makes me love these even more is the cooling mint feel it leaves after application. Occasionally, I'll dab some underneath my eye lips to reduce any puffiness, during the spring allergy season to have pocket-cold compress around my eyes, or in generally if I feel the need to soothe it. Just don't leave these in your car during the summer or you'll find the bar turns into a nice liquid, unless that's what you're going for! ... show more
