I don't so much mind the thinner metal, after all it is a lower-priced Made In China item. What I don't appreciate is being grossly lied to about the size, which turns out so much smaller than stated that I cannot use it. Stated width: 23". Actual width: 20-9/16". Stated depth: 11.2". Actual depth: 8-3/4". Stated height: 14.7". Actual height of chest: 12-1/8". These are large misrepresentations. If it were the stated size, I would not have returned it. ... show more

Under product description, it says the tool box is 11.2 inches deep, it is not, it is 8 inches deep. I contacted the seller and they said the 11.2 inches is the size of the box that it comes in...give me a break...who cares what the size of the box it comes in.

It holds a lot of tools,they stay organized bit you will need good drawer liner. Deep wall socket fit on the top. Will be ordering one more.

What can I say, this is a toolbox. The drawers work well. The price was half that of similar models. My only complaint is that the hinges and lock are not protected from the tools inside. I had a case where I couldn't unlock it when a tool slid under the locking mechanism.

Some reviewers stated this was a good quality tool box, but at this price point I was skeptical. Upon unpacking it, I discovered that it is - indeed - a decent tool box for the money. It's certainly not professional quality, and the handle in the center of the lid makes me doubtful that it would hold up with lots of "carrying it around." But overall, if you're looking for a decent tool box, and don't want to spend a lot of money, this might be just what you're looking for. ... show more

Drawers seem to have a mind of their own on whether or not they'll be locking w/ the top being closed or opened, locked or unlocked. Bottom drawer has seemed to seized up on the left side roller. WD-40 and some tugging got it back to function. Tough construction, accidentally lowered jeep's T-case skid plate on top of it while it was open. Didn't buckle or bend. Purchased as a gift for my son-in-law. He was quite pleased when he sorted his tools and now can easily find what he is looking for. Before this he had to dig in an open toolbox and search for a tool. Much easier now.
