I purchased this faux leather material to have arm rests made for my favorite leather club chair. I wanted a material that was both very smooth and soft to the touch. This was perfect for those requirements. The seamstress that made the arm covers even remarked about its softness and smooth texture. I'm certain its longevity won't be compromised due to these features as well as not cracking and become brittle over time (as happened with covers previously made from a different faux leather material). I'm not sure if it's measured correctly, but I had enough material to reupholster my Steelcase Leap V2 chair with material left over to reupholster the Lorell 86000 headrest that I purchased for it. The material is very strong and it takes a bit of effort to drive a needle through it which makes me think it should hold up well. It feels soft and looks like genuine leather. The previous material I purchase was super thin and fell apart, but that material was noticeably cheaper and thinner compared to this material. It was easy to work with and held up to constant adjustments and rethreads to correct mistakes.

Nice fabric for the price! I was looking for some kid/stain-proof fabric to redo our kitchen bar stools, but didn't want to spend much, as I knew I would probably be changing them again in a couple of years. When I first opened the package, it had a distinct odor (like spoiled milk or something?). I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to get the smell to go away. Aired the fabric out for a few days, and that didn't do the trick. So I draped it over my patio chairs for a day in the sun. That sort of helped, but not entirely. After two more days in the sun and breeze, the odor was completely gone. So if you experience this same issue, you don't have to return the fabric. Just be patient. (I took of one star for this issue though, as it delayed my project by several days.) This is a thick fabric, but was fairly easy to work with in the reupholstering project. And now that it's on the chairs, it is a very nice durable fabric, and it looks good too. I've already wiped up several spills and have been thankful that we switched to this!

I have stools with smooth black leather, and I made a huge tear in one of the stools. I bought this to replace the leather on the stool. You have to look extremely carefully to be able to tell the difference between the stools now.

I needed to repair a recliner foot rest that was worn through. I ordered a piece as close to the original fabric and it seems even better than what was on the furniture originally. I also have enough left over to do the footrest on a matching recliner if needed.

Ordered 2 pieces to have enough for the project. Got 2 different ones. Returned one for a replacement got a different one again although the sticker has the same product name. They may be coming from different batches and don’t look the same. One has smaller grain and more shiny than the other.

I used this to protect leather bar stools and to recover chair seats for an old dining set that I had painted white. It looks great and was easy to work with. I wasn't able to find a good faux leather locally but this material was perfect.
