Be ready to spend a couple of hours putting this together. It is not difficult and I was able to do it by myself although with two people it can be done faster. I was disappointed that a lot of the parts had minor damage. Some parts weren't painted all the way. I kept the product because I was lazy to have to put it back in the box and have to figure out how to ship it. With $99 shipping fee I assume the product would arrive in a better state. The look and feel seems good so far. The bottom bed is almost at floor lever and the clearence between beds works ok for small kids. The stairs have some rough edges that we expect we will have to buy some foam to avoid injuries in the future.

This was purchased to update a guestroom. It was hard to assemble and time consuming. Definitely two adults needed to put together. I am pleased with the result as it looks great.

Just put it together yesterday so I can’t comment on longevity but it seems well made. I’d estimate 4 hours for one person to assemble including sorting all parts first - hard to say as I had kids “helping” and stopped for dinner etc. the only time I truly needed help was putting the top bed up. It’s a big job (as expected) but instructions were clear and everything is labeled. It says not to use power tools but I did for attaching the mattress support slats as that would have taken forever without - no issues but just be mindful and don’t overtighten. Two minor complaints- the stairs are particle board and the corners are sharp. I anticipate someone whacking a shin. Also the mattresses don’t fit tightly (standard twin mattresses - different brands). I may try to put a pool noodle in the gap so every toy that comes to bed doesn’t get lost.

My kids were very happy having this. And we spend a morning put it together. The shipping boxes are well packed and protected. Instructions are fairly clear, you’ll need some common sense and read the illustrations carefully. The location of screw holes can help you orient pieces correctly. My only concern is the bed slats. It looks thin and with bad quality. The instruction said the upper bed can take 200 lbs. As a 140 lbs man I don’t even want take the chances breaking it. I found some wood pieces for extra support. Generally speaking it’s a functional, good looking bunk bed. Just need to use it with some care.

This bed with Trundle was easy to assemble. My husband had to make adjustments to the Trundle part you pull on to get the bed out. Sharpe corners on both ends had to be cut and sanded down. This would have been a big safety issue with our 2 year old. He also added a gate to the stairs and extra rails to the inside(because she still figured out a way to get up there with the gate) but that was just our choice to keep youngest off the top bunk. Overall don't regret purchase.

The product arrived much faster than promised, which worked great for us (we had just finished with a wacky saga with a different seller/ online furniture site that sent us an incomplete product, then casually told us they sold too many and couldn’t fulfill the order, so we should pack it up for pickup/ return). I don’t order much stuff online, but I thought we would give this a shot. Everything arrived nicely and even my 7-y.o. daughter could follow most of the instructions. We are possibly missing 1 screw, but could have just been misplaced. It did take many hours, as the directions advised against using power tools. I am considering putting some kind of reinforcement at the end areas of the upper bunk’s slats, as I just get scared of someone’s foot slipping through at the end of a mattress ( I still have to buy mattresses, so this may not be an issue at all). All in all, we are very happy with the bed and the whole process.
