As far as "mall" timepieces go this is easily top of the line. I am a long time Citizen watch fan that appreciates and likes Bulova. Citizen owns the Bulova brand (which may explain why the box in the picture of the item description shows Citizen. It actually arrives with a Bulova box). This is really a gorgeous timepiece that is more than worth the buy in and can handle the job of everyday wristwatch without any issue. Bulova is a very respectable brand, and quietly has maybe the best logo ever made for a watch with their striking tuning fork. This tuning fork logo is sadly under-utilized here and is the only complaint I have. The logo only appears on the wrist closure and crown, and looks great in both places, but remains basically unseen. I would have liked it to appear more prominently and on the watch face. Other than that, this watch is beautiful and understated. I would usually avoid the color red, especially on a very neutral looking style as this, but here it is used extremely well as an accent to the otherwise all silver coloring. The simple all silver design will work with any outfit and looks great without being gaudy. As far as actually keeping the time, this is spot on. After about a month of use it remains accurate to the second. There is a lot going on with the multiple dials (one of which I would actually do without) but the main time remains easy to read at a glance. There is a nice weight and heft that makes this feel substantial yet not cumbersome. Really, this is a high quality watch that works for any look and any occasion. This latest Bulova Marine Star 6 watch is quite good-looking. I love the silver shine with the white face and red outline. The actual hour and minute hands, of course, function quite well and look good. There is a small second hand on an inner dial rather than a second hand on the main watchface. The timer is actually the traditional second hand the ticks around the main dial, which I find confusing when I look at it. The two other inner dials are rather odd -- at least to me -- one shows you the time on a 24 hour clock vice a 12 hour dial -- which essentially just tells you if it is PM or AM. The other inner dial, on the left, tracks the timekeeping sweep in minutes, up to 60. There is a rotating date window that, naturally, shows the day of the month. This is what I find hard to read. It looks good in the photo, but there is something about the red outline and the black letters that are slightly too small to clearly read at a normal distance from your eyes. The timekeeper functions well with start and stop both on the upper button and reset on the bottom button. Setting the time is not too difficult with the pull-out knob. The bracelet of the watch fits well and is comfortable; slightly lighter than a higher-end premium watch. My main concern with this watch is the clasp on the back side. It feels a little more complicated and slightly weaker than what I would like, although it does work and stays closed. Overall this is a very nice watch for this price point. This watch feels just as high quality as it looks. It has a good weight to it as you know it’s made well. Time worked well and we had no issues with it keeping time. Works great for the office and special events to add to your appearance. This is a great value for the watch and people loved how it looked.
