Description

High temperature kiln wash prevents glass from sticking to kiln shelves and molds. Each batch of Bullseye Shelf Primer is kiln-tested to ensure consistency from run to run. Includes illustrated instructions on proper application, drying, mixing, precautions and storage. One 5 lb bucket will coat about 150 twenty square inch kiln shelves. Delphi Tip: For the perfect consistency mix 4 parts water to 1 part wash. Apply with Haik brush.

I paint this on my kiln shelf before fusing my glass art pieces and I apply it to molds before slumping them. Just what it is designed for and it does an excellent job. I've used it for years and never had a problem. It comes in powder form but dissolves easily in water. Directions call for five coats on a kiln shelf but I find three coats is sufficient and I usually can get at least a couple of firings before having to reapply. I've tried other brands but they don't seem to mix as completely. Very happy with the product. ... show more
