I have a '16 Jeep JK Rubicon with a Poison Spyder cage. So, not a lot of options for where to put my phone, or my wife's phone. In my 98 TJ, I used a Niteize Steelie, but the JK's dash is textured, and too rounded for the Steelie mount. So after months of searching, and testing run of the mill phone mounts, I should also mention that I also have a Stinger Heigh10+ which also limits some phone mounts. I ended up biting the bullet (pun intended), and ordering a Bullet point mounting solutions grab bar phone mounts. I'm not gonna lie, I think (like most everything nowadays) it's a little overpriced. You only get the "base" mount. You still need the actual phone mount, which is sold separately. And they do offer several different types of mounts. Standard spring loaded clamp type, several different magnetic mounts, wireless charging or not. So, there's no shortage of styles of mounts. They also offer GoPro, and tablet mounts. This was so easy to install. And, with my 2013 Jeep JK having no place for a cell phone th's mounting bar solution is perfect. It is sturdy, well made, looks great and holds my cell with ease and very sturdy. Took me all of about 15 minutes or less to fully install.
