I think the backlit mirrors are much more elegant and classy looking than the framed front lighting style. The backlighting doesnโ€™t interfere with any other lighting decor in the room. The small 20โ€ width fits nicely over the tiny sink vanity in the 1/2 bath of the converted garage. Even though there is no shower in the bathroom, the anti-fog feature will not go unused. The new bath has already been used for steaming facials and mani-pedi nights. The anti-fog element held its own during these events and kept the mirror clear & usable. When hanging, we utilized the plug install option over hardwiring to make everything simpler. So I'll be honest this is a pretty cool, futuristic mirror. It definitely makes the bathroom seem more modern when your mirror is a touchscreen that defrosts from showers too... It's cool. The light settings are pretty bright also. I notice often now that i dont need to turn on the bathroom light anymore because the mirror is a better and more even source of light for the bathroom... The defrost feature is great too because it helps you get ready so much faster when you're in a hurry and need to see yourself to get ready... The install is easy. It comes with a regular 3 prong wall plug. from the back of the mirror so you have the option of plugging it in if you want or you can cut the wire and manually wire it... Assuming you have a outlet closeby I'd recommend that option because there's no groove for the plug to on the frame of the mirror. So that the mirror would sit flush on the wall without the plug being in the way. At least I didn't see one so might as well hardwire it... Install is easy enough but I think the makers of this are missing out on a huge opportunity and wasted space because the frame is fairly think and it would be easier to mount to studs if it opened anyway (i.e. medicine cabinet) but all in all. This thing is dope. good value. great item. havent had any issues. I would recommend this to others. ... show more

Installation of the mirror is very simple. The backlit lights are comfortable, but you may need additional light in cases like shaving etc. Slick design mirror size OK. The only drawback is the cord hanging from the mirror. There should be an easier way to hide it all.

We are upgrading our main house bathroom and really wanted a mirror with lighting and some sort of antifogging coating or something similar. We ordered this mirror for the two features mentioned above, and we were not disappointed with the features at all. The lighting is nice, deflected and soft so the mirror actually looks like its glowing, which is very cool. It hangs easy and you can see from the pics there are multiple hanging holes to make the installer's life a little easier. We really liked the plug feature too as it allowed us to quickly test the features once we had the mirror in place but before we went through the hassle of hardwiring it into the house's electrical system. What we didn't like about this mirror is the edge of it, as it looks... unfinished. The edge is flat, not even a bevel, and it really looks like it needs a frame of some sort around it to "finish" the mirror's construction. It detracts considerably from the overall impression and look of the mirror, regardless of the cool features it has. It's not a deal breaker, and I suspect if you wanted a frame around it you could likely find one, as the mirror's dimensions aren't anything out of the ordinary. But even a simple bevel on the edge of the mirror would at least add a "finishing touch" to an otherwise terrific product. ... show more
