DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE CLAY SOIL This worked great for the front yard that has had years of composting and top layering to replace the clay soil. But one afternoon working on replugging the backyard and it broke from me stepping on it to punch through the clay.

We loaded up on bulbs this fall and needed a tool to help get them quickly into the ground. We took a chance on this, as a dibble made the job seem overwhelming. We were presently surprised at how easy this bulb planter tool was to use. You step on it, pull out the plug of dirt created by the tool, plant your bulb, and with a quick step on the release, refill the hole with the plug of dirt. The tool was surprisingly sturdy and easy to assemble. It’s easy to use and help us plant the bulbs more rapidly. We would recommend this bulb planter tool over a dibble!
