Great curtains! I don’t know what people are saying if they think these are cheap. The overlay looks good. But you have to iron out the wrinkles for it to look good. Beautiful blackout curtains, they are not incredibly heavy being that they are a blackout curtain with a soft lace overlay, the fabric over all is very soft. The curtains arrived folded but when I revived from packaging, surprisingly folds we not deep! The large rings allow for easy set up. These are great heavy duty black out curtains that do an excellent job of blocking out light. I tried putting my phone light against the curtain and you really can't see any light coming through on the other side! The sheer overlay also adds a nice softness to the overall look. The one negative is that these come wrinkled from the packaging and the wrinkles are STUBBORN. I've had these curtains hung for over a month now and tried steaming them multiple times with a handheld steamer and nothing has worked thus far. Fortunately, the sheer layer makes the wrinkles less obvious when you're looking at them afar, but they are still noticeable from up close. ... show more

I really loved these curtains for my teenage daughter’s room. They were a great length and the double layer really elevated the look of the curtains compared to just a solid curtain. I do think they have helped keep some of the cool air out of her room. They can blackout the room however, I left sheer only in the middle of her window so we did not use it for that reason. They serve the purpose needed. They are soft and easy to work with, so not too thick but a decent quality. One drawback, was they did have a strange smell, like a floral perfume scent. I bought two curtains from this series — one in gray and one in ivory. The quality was great, and they blocked out light really well. So I decided to get another one in white. But to my surprise, the white one had serious issues. First, one of the two curtains packages I received was clearly a returned item — the packaging wasn’t original. Second, once I hung them up, I noticed that the two curtain panels couldn’t overlap properly, they are stiff and made a rustling sound when touched, like plastic sheeting. I compared them to the ones I bought earlier and realized the quality was completely different. The ones I bought before were made of synthetic fabric, but this new one is basically plastic! If I hadn’t bought the others before, I wouldn’t have noticed the difference — that’s the trick! I would have paid $50 for a piece of plastic. ... show more
