  • As described and works so far
I haven't used it extensively, but I hooked it up to the propane immediately upon delivery. Started right up. Ran smoothly. Plugged in both a deep freezer and the frig, no problems. Noise is what I expected. Slightly more quiet that my zero-turn mower without the blades engaged. We could hear it inside the house, but only enough to know it was on. It did not disturb us inside the house. ... show more

  • WASTE OF MONEY!
VERY LOUD, even when run on propane, that is if you can actually get it to run on propane! Low atmospheric pressure in Florida makes it very difficult to run it on propane. Seller and manufacturer did not disclose this information. Not easy to run on gasoline either as it constantly shuts iff for no apparent reason. The manufacturer dud not honor the warrentee and amazon seller refused to refund my money.I wish i never bought it, especially after i found it at a much cheaper price. BIG MISTAKE! ... show more

  • Nice Generator; You'll Need To Buy Some Additional Items To Operate It Though
Living in Florida I purchased this economical 4000W generator to basically have on hand to run my refrigerator if and when the power goes out for an extended period of time. Promptly delivered, no damage (even though the delivery man rolled it head over heels getting it out of the truck). Nice product, love the dual fuel feature, performs well. Note that you will still need to purchase some additional items to complete the assembly and be ready for the 'big one'., such as, grounding rod, grounding wire, adequate gas and propane containers, 10 or 12AWG extension cord(s), and for convenience, a generator cover and a cart to roll it on. . .it's a bit heavy. As of today the company does not have a wheel cart for this particular model (they tell me that it's in production). I needed one now so I did a little research and found an alternative that was reasonably priced, easy to assembly, and, adjusts to the size I needed for this particular generator. Click here to see the cart I purchased; easy assembly and with a few heavy duty 'zip ties' 'bingo' your generator is now mobile. • Great Generator!
Great generator. I would give it 5 stars if it was not for the RV 30 amp plug interference issue as picture by other customer review. Other than that, the generator functions great and is not too excessively loud. When placed on the opposite side of the RV from your camp site, you can of course hear it running but not so loud that you need to raise your voice to talk over it. Performance was excellent. I camped in low 20 degree snowy weather for 4 days and used the generator twice per day each day. The generator started every single time on the first pull. As for the plug, I rotated the 30 amp outlet position which resolved the inference problem. To flip the outlet I had to replace one wire with a longer piece of the same rating and type wire, so some comfort level with wiring is necessary. the plug should have come from the manufacture in this orientation and is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, still a great buy. ... show more

  • Any way to over come issue with RV plug orientation?
Only complaint is in picture. All 30 amp RV power cords I’ve seen have a 90 degree angle in them coming out from outlet. Support frame of generator makes impossible to plug in?
