The quality of the jacket, hat and leggings are very good. The booties are meant to be worn over shoes, so they are a bit big. The shoes are a bit thin, so I would recommend adding something to the bottom if you are going to a party (some non-slip stick-on). Also, you need to stuff the toes to have the point up--very easy to do. I bought to costume for my son who is 5' 7. The jacket can easily accommodate a taller person and still look accurate. The only drawback is the belt that was provided is noticeably thinner than the actual Elf character. I purchased a wider black belt. The belt pictured here is NOT the one that is part of the costume. You can find one online.

I've been wanting a Buddy costume for a while to wear to Christmas parties, etc. I finally took the plunge and bought this one b/c the quality looked WAY better than others I've seen. I'm telling you - this may as well be the costume from the movie. It's AWESOME. Fits like a glove (I always wear a small, ordered a small, and it fits perfect). I didn't tell my husband that I bought it, went into the bathroom (mind you, after a really bad day at work), came out, and he almost fell on the floor laughing. He just kept saying, "Awesome!" So we went outside after a fresh coat of powder and took some photos. I'll be wearing this to every Christmas party I go to from now until eternity. I'll probably wear it out Christmas shopping, too. It's REALLY high quality! The ONLY complaint I have, but not worth taking a star off, is that the elf shoes are only boot covers. For some instances, it might be OK, but I'm going for authenticity here. So I found another pair on Amazon that are really high-quality, LEGIT elf shoes. So if your budget allows it, I'd HIGHLY recommend purchasing those as an amazing add-on.

Pretty decent buddy the elf costume. I think the bottoms fit true to size but the jacket runs a little big. The hat elastic was sewn incorrectly so I cut it out and added wig clips.

Wore this today (December 23rd) to teach a 45 minute Spin class! It was great! The jacket fit well, not too tight and not too warm either. I did wear leggings under the yellow leggings just to make sure because they are a little see through. But this is a great buy
