Compared to the aquarium I bought before, this one has a much more advanced setup. The filter and heater are built into one unit, which gives it a clean and modern look. The lid also has a temperature display, making it very convenient to monitor the water temperature. It even comes with some decorative aquatic plants, and the LED light offers several different color options. It's not very large—about the same size as my previous tank—which is perfect for my space. Update: After communicating with the company, I was told that the reading is what’s closest to the heating element. And it doesn’t give the temperature of the true reading of the entire tank. So I will get a floating thermometer to see how that goes. I won’t be placing a fish in there until I am sure of the temperature. The company was very prompt in their responses. Going to upgrade to 4 stars. If I’m not satisfied, I will get a heater to add to my tank. Giving it a two star for now. Because there is a heater but no control and the water keeps getting hotter. Looks like it will go to 99°. Way too hot for any fish! If you can’t regulate the water temperature, why even add the heater? If the heater is on all night, my fish is dead in the morning. I did send a message to the company, so I will report back if and when they reply. Other than that, it’s a very cute set up. We will see how easy it is to clean when it’s time. For now, disappointed.

This tank is a perfect size for my baby betta. It has a super quiet filter. I had to double check it was even on! Comes with a bunch of plants and a net. Also comes with ceramic stones for the filter. However, it is not clear at all where to put these stones. No way to set the temperature which is a huge con for a fish tank. Fish require certain temps. Not being able to regulate this is terrible.

Terrible quality - leaking after two days - what a waste of money 👎👎 Absolutely terrible filter didn’t work and couldn’t control the temperature only thing you can do is turn on the led lights and watch your fish die. Never buy this again and it only leaks and kills your fish, DONT BUY!

I wanted to love this, it's such a cute little tank, and I really love the way it looks. The digital display and the full covering lid give it a really clean looka nd feel to it. However, I’ve had some frustrating problems with it and decided it was not worth the aggravation it was causing. First of all, the heater. I can not for the life of me figure out how to set a temperature, it seems it only has an on or off ability. No way to get the temperature in range of your fish’s needs. Unless you want boiled fish for breakfast, I do not recommend leaving this on overnight. Next issue is the light. It's bright and has multicolor options, but it's not full spectrum so the fish (and / or) plants will get no simulation of sunlight to maintain their health and growth. And the display screen on the lid, one of the best features about this tank is that it is super quiet, so quiet it would be perfect on a bedroom nightstand. But the display light does not time out or have a dimmer setting. I dont know what sort of power they put into that display, but it lights up a dark room in the middle of the night very well, not great for sleeping and even too bright for a night light. This is a really great looking setup with an almost perfect design, but the execution failed. It's more of a “play” aquarium. Something for a kid that wants a pet when you can't get a dog or cat. Just dont put it in their bedroom if you need it to be dark for sleeping.

This is a very nice all in one setup. Everything you need besides substrate. Easy to set up and get going. Lighting and heat functions work great. Have the different colors for the lighting is cool but we keep it on the white setting since we have live plants in the tank. Filter will be east to clean and reuse. The tank is well built and the perfect size for a betta. The perfect set up for my granddaughter to get her started in fish keeping.
