I just bought two more of these Bubba travel mugs. I have been using them for several years now, but when I wanted to get another one recently, I learned that Walmart apparently no longer carries this particular item. I was fortunate enough to find it on Amazon. The manufacturer states that the mug will keep liquids cold for up to 21 hours. I was so impressed after I bought the first one that I ran my own test, filling the mug with ice and water, putting the lid on it, and letting it sit at room temperature for 24 hours and then checking it. I found that all of the ice did not completely melt until well after the 24-hour period. It is a large stainless steel (30-ounce) container and I also like the way it is designed, with a reduced base so that it will fit into a vehicle drink holder and with a tight lid. I have never known one to leak (except when I forgot to close the drink opening tightly). I use them all of the time, and I sometimes "lose" one when I put it down somewhere in the house, basement, garage, outbuilding, vehicle, or even on the lawn mower, so I keep multiples on hand, so I always have one available until I find the previous "lost" one. Recently, when I was in the process of purchasing one from Amazon, I looked at the reviews and was surprised to find a number that were negative. Such as: "Leaks constantly," "do not keep things ice cold for long at all," "handle has already fallen off, "cheap plastic lid," and several that complained that the handle breaks off. I have never had any of these problems, and I do not treat these mugs with care. I have a couple that have large dents in them where I managed to bash them some way or other, and they still function like new. I also read where one reviewer said that she had used this Bubba mug for a long time and really liked it, but when she could not find it at Walmart anymore, she got one from Amazon and that it leaked badly. Made me a little nervous, but I still bought one from Amazon (and then another as I am afraid they might not be available much longer), and both of them are just as tough as the ones I have had for a long time. I don't know why the other folks had these experiences, but seeing as all of the really negative comments are less than 2% of the total reviews, I think they were just unlucky. I liked the old Hero mug, which seems to have been discontinued. I bought a different brand with the same shape as the old Hero mug. The insulation was nowhere near what I am accustomed to from Bubba; my tea got cold almost as fast as if there were no insulation at all. Then I bought this one. It is a Bubba. I can fill it with hot tea in the morning, and burn my tongue on it two hours later, if I'm not careful. I can leave it upside down for hours, and it does not leak a drop. Bubba Brand mugs are absolutely best brands out there. One thing I like about my Bubba mug is the stainless steel interior, (no plastic), and it keeps cold drinks iced for over 24 hours. Not only the Bubba brand mugs keeps things cold, it also keeps liquids hot, and the seal is no worry at all, I mean you can travel with this mug upside down in a back pack willed with liquids with no worry about it leaking. Years ago, I use to buy other brand mugs every year at Walmart until I happened upon the Bubba Brand Mugs, and that was it, I stuck with the brand. I've gone through 2 of the no carry handle Bubba Tumblers, and one was not returned after a guest used it(were not sure which guest), and the other I made a coffee with my wife sister, when she was rushing to go to training one morning, and she left it in the facilities kitchen by accident. I do have another Tumbler that I keep in my bed room as an (emergency back up) and I bought that at Amazon along with this mug that I'm writing about now. with the nice handle. Bubba Brand, I can tell The folks @ Bubba Brand done their homework, particularly in knowing the dimensions of the average motor vehicles cup holder, and I gotta say, all my Bubba Mugs fit like customize accessory to the 2 vehicles we commute with which are, (2021 Camry LE AWD, 2017 LEXUS LX 570). Unlike many thermal mugs, this one has a lid that screws on instead of snapping on. That was not clear on the product page. That’s fine, but you have to screw it on tight or it will leak. Not as easy if you have a weak grip or arthritis in your hands. Other than that, it does keep my coffee hot for quite a while and fits the cup holder in my car nicely. My Yeti mug was too wide to fit in the holder so this mug is preferable on that account. ... show more

This cup is sturdy and resilient.....I have dropped it several times and the only damage thus far is a few small scratches. Best of all, it keeps hot things hot and cold things cold for more than 24 hours. Even ice lasts if you put that alone in.

This Thermo cup is awesome! It is very easy to use and fits perfectly for a Keurig coffee machine and this stability is! It holds hot and cold very nice! If you use it for hot it stays that way for at least 2-3 hours even after it stays quite warm! This cup is awesome and would recommend!
